Paladin or Templar?

I dunno about now, but there used to be Percheron-Clydesdale attack wings, yes. Well, no so much as attack as smuggler prevention. Overall, it was the lolziest thing ever, especially when Athenian took out a .84 LH GS in his Percheron. ;)

It is nearly as big as a VHF and is only a bit more agile.

In fact, the Eagle VHF is more agile than the Paladin HF.

the Hussar is the best LF in the mod (at least in my opinion).

There are, namely Bowex) ones, which are surprisingly effective, and have been killing quite a lot of stuff in Bretonia recently.

I'd also suggest a Hussar though, it's easily one of the best public LFs around, on a par with the Liberator and Tanto.

I used to fly a Hussar back in .84, I remember (foolishly) taking on Draygon in his infamous cruiser... I succeeded in incurring is wrath which half of Leeds and Dublin had to suffer since I kept CD'ing him.

I nearly solo'd his shield in a Manta by pinning him at Birmingham once. Then he started quad-Dragonflying me, annoyingly enough. Missiles, I can dodge. 24 missiles at once? Not so much.

Back on topic, I haven't flown the Clydesdale or the Templar, but I can confirm that the Paladin is truly awful. It's like a very slightly smaller Falcon with an extra gun and VHF speed. So yeah, pass on the Paladin.

As for me, Paladin works too, but once you get used to Templar, you start to admit its advantages despite huge size.
