I dunno about now, but there used to be Percheron-Clydesdale attack wings, yes. Well, no so much as attack as smuggler prevention. Overall, it was the lolziest thing ever, especially when Athenian took out a .84 LH GS in his Percheron. ;)

Back on topic, I haven't flown the Clydesdale or the Templar, but I can confirm that the Paladin is truly awful. It's like a very slightly smaller Falcon with an extra gun and VHF speed. So yeah, pass on the Paladin.
