Space is not a total vacuum, there's a really thin gas and space dust, so there's a medium for sound to travel, if space was a total vacuum, it would suck into itself

You would still not be able to hear anything.
Simply put, there's not enough gas and dust.

I'ts not factual, it would be perfectly fitting and plotholeless is it was, and it's not gravity, it's a stupid plothole.

I'm not ignoring, refuting, simply I think there's a possibility Earth would still exist, as well as it may be blown up, but seeing how everyone just gone "it blown up, period, now shut up".
You don't think it's factual? Go ask Igiss. He decides what is and isn't factual.

Also, ignoring and refuting facts still have the same purpose - refusing to acknowledge facts.

Carlos Rivera: Corsair Brotherhood Pirate - Retired, shifted to Tripoli Shipyard's Research and Development engineering teams
Anthony Cameron: Guild Core Bounty Hunter - Killed in Action, committed suicide after being trapped in Omicron Minor following its destruction
Juan Ruiz: Outcast Ghost of Razgriz Pirate - Killed in Action, killed by the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army during Bretonian piracy raid
Michael Winchester: Liberty Security Force Agent - Missing in Action, likely killed during Rheinland espionage mission or trapped in Rheinland Space
Eric McCormick: Order Pilot - Retired, shifted to planetside training of new recruits

Liberty and Nomad Backstory, Very interesting - read it!

Because they're mostly wrong or misunderstood, just that.

From the Earth Topic
' Wrote:Humanity won't know about Sol until about 821A.S., according to Igiss' lore.

Still needs confirmation though, yet if Igiss said it was what? does it clear Sol exploding from being a Mix and Mash story? It would just pass for being an known unknown to there being a plothole unless Sol is added.

I said in the Earth topic it was fridge logic for a reason.

I'm curious, what is this plot hole that you keep mentioning? You keep claiming that our explanations don't close this plot hole that you constantly bring up.

Random nomads blow up Earth, Sirius nomads were in a popsicle, now wtf are those nomads then? as far I get in the lore, all nomads were created in Sirius, so if they went to blow up Earth, they still would be pissing off the DK, as from the lore too, they LOVE tweaking with creatures, Earth for them would be another park, of course they would just have found another one, but if you're right they "created" Sirius, then most of it's habitable planets were terraformed, yet the nearest thing to Earth in Sirius is Gaia, which leads to how rare are natural habitable planets too, they wouldn't missc Earth. Why did they blow up Sol?, it would be explained in a sequel and fill the plothole, it's pretty much like Freespace 2's ending.

If Akura's right, then a sequel would be about Earth and the nomads that did it, so it may include Sol (blown up or not).

Or possibly Freestalker's right, they're Sirius' nomads, time traveled to blow up humans because of them losing the nomad war, but they time traveled wrong.

Maybe he's your master-- to me he's that one guy with strange ideas that the dev team gives undue weight to the opinions of.

I kind of see your point. The reason for Sol's destruction and the circumstances behind why there are Nomads in Sol hasn't been completely addressed yet. The only thing said about this is found in the Nomad Lore (not the link I showed you, I'm talking about the lore written by players here). Here's a quote:

Quote:What about Nomads from original introduction?

As hinted at, other groups of Nomads may have inhabited other regions of space, not just Sirius. Furthermore the storyboard drawings for original introduction shows a bipedal entity controlling the Nomad sun destroyer which bears close resemblance to original artwork for Nomads. While Sirius Nomads are called Slomon K'Hara, we do not know the real name for ones that have destroyed Sol, or if they exist anymore.
I'm still not convinced about whether or not destroying Sol really would've pissed off the DK. The same Nomad Lore that I got the above quote from also talks about the Nomads' physiology and genetic structure. It seems much more complex than that of humanity, leading me to believe that the DK would have no interest in messing with humanity since we're probably "too simple" for them, genetically speaking. However, this is merely my belief and is not confirmed by any factual evidence because almost nothing is known about the DK. Trying to say anything definite about the DK is pretty much impossible at this point since almost nothing is known about them.

I personally think the story should keep focus on Sirius.
Bringing sol into the equation also brings in all the events of Starlancer and beyond.
May overcomplicate things, especially for roleplay.

This is just surface thoughts, I dont know the full Igiss vision or how this would
fit with disco in general.
