This poll is not deep enough. With a given number of systems, smaller systems is better. However, a more pertinent question which people seem to have taken a liken to is: do you prefer having a high total number of systems, all of them somewhat small, or having a small total number of systems, all of them somewhat large?

that is a good question.

Myself? I don't mind systems the size of Manhattan without trade-lanes, but the number of systems disco has for its player count is a bit excessive, and its still growing. What is needed is some way to boost the player count (virtually impossible atm) rather than more space to fly around in.

If i would "never go more than 20k off the plane", you won't find me even in Conn.

It'€™s really interesting.

Well, I vote for 1st option. Because indeed

Space is big, yes.

Space is even bigger when only inhabited by two hundred people. If you make the systems larger, we might as well convert Disco into a roleplay chat room on an IRC.

Omega-47 has been my favorite system for numerous reasons since I started playing Discovery in 2006/7.
If every system were expanded to that size, Discovery would suck. Nonetheless, O-47 is nicer than California, Cortez, and Magellan as a set of three, so... maybe making something like a "Barrier Foothills" region or something would be nice? (Along with other conglomerates)
