It's all about balance. Missile equipped snubs have an advantage when dealing with razor or inferno equipped snubs. But a properly used TCD can render a missile only snub completely ineffective. And there's nothing overpowered about it - it's a choice. TCDs can be used as a defensive weapon, to shield you from missiles and mines.
The fact that you lack skill with guns (find a friend, practise in Conneticut a bit until you get the hang of it?) doesn't mean the weapon is overpowered just cause it neuters the autoaiming alternative you chose. Incidentally, when using the snac, do you aim by crosshair with -just- the snac active? If you aim by crosshair with several variable-speed weapons active at once, that's a recipy for missing the way you report it.

Also, if you want a tip from someone who has experience in fighter missiles, like me, here's this:
I have this Nyx, full missiles + razor.
90% of the fights I get into, I win, even I against multiple people, why ? Because I pick my fights carefully, someone with a CD will own you if he's even below average at using it.
But if they have a Razor/Inferno, you have a good chance of killing them if you play it right, meaning, you have to choose which range and angle you're firing them from, that comes from experience really, you'll get the feeling of the right time if you keep on practicing.
Of course, the above is for a full missile load-out, and since that deals massive damage to snubs, you have to be careful, I downed full missile Sabres with ''a few shots of my guns + a single CD, or simply two CDs''. Gotta be careful with those.
And if you're just using like 1-2 missiles, then you simply have to fire them when your opponent doesn't expect it, don't spam them all the time, (s)he will adapt against it.
Oh yeah, if you're using full missiles, mount a razor, because at one point..you'll run out of missiles to fire.
Edit: Woops, almost forgot, another tip; Paralyzers are useless and they just take up your hardpoint for nothing, sure you can down a snub shield in a shot, but..you can do that with anything else really. Useless.
... he's prolly worried about someone jousting into him with a razor or mine. A successful hull hit with a paralyzer takes those weapons offline for that pass. It's another defensive play strategy - but I would prefer a hullbuster instead.

Yeah but wtf with having a 400m blast radius? it can explode missiles when they're in the middle, and the blast somehow gets to me even after I break off, and I still don't get with that thing has to go faster than light.

I've practiced TONS of times in connecticut, I said, only frag I've ever got was in practice agains a static target, then I still sucked at it.
And I actually chained the SNAC to a hotkey, it doesn't fire with Shift+Q.
' Wrote:Turn your sensitivity down a bit and then try aiming guns again. If I can do it with ANZLAG, you can do it.
I've Tweaked the sensitivity tons of times, I still suck
Dude, what I mean, I've tried EVERYTHING to not suck, and I still suck, I'm just not for using guns and in a worse state than a stormtrooper, 'kay? So no, I can't.
@Soul Reaper
I actually had a wasupu with:
2 sidewinders
1 Cannonball
1 Paralizer
2 Flashpoints (for annoying and using as ruse and stuff)
1 Starkiller (They actually worked a LOT)
But I differ from paralizers being useless, they're actually pretty good at keeping the Hullbanger's ammo, just launch the paras first, then drop the sidewinders and everything else, if everything hits, insta-pop.
But those FRAKING TCD have as huge 400m blast radius and getting them to waste them is pretty slow and I end tiring myself doing that.
Now I got a marauder with:
2 cannonball
2 Neutralizer
2 Flashpoints (for the same stuff)
1 Starkiller
Got it from the need of being faster to break and evade CDs faster from exploding the missiles faster, though the TCD are still freaking annoying,.

Don't set the SNAC to fire with a hotkey button - that's a recipe for disastrous failure. It means the crosshair will still be aiming for your other guns.
Instead, set the SNAC to its very own weapon group, and fire using the mouse. This means the crosshair will compensate and you won't miss anywhere near as much.
