They will be willing to do anything that will make them money, and they are investing in the Cardamine trade.
And it just sounds like the Outcasts are not in the mood to fight people really, seeing as they are now focusing more on the Cardamine trade and less on the Corsair war from what I hear here. That likely scares away indies.

Again, Corsairs are.. psh, way over there *wags arm around showing how irrelevant it is to our interests* We'd happily fight those that are interrupting our cardi trade, or whoever the rogues, junkers, hackers, need help against. But for that we need active 101st and such.

A basic principle in leadership is to ensure and push for a proactive environment to ensure the best and top quality output, the OCs are currently the opposite.
One must invoke his followers to -want- to be in the faction, to be excited and actually -want- to play those ships. Once one gets this down, the numbers just start flowing.

"Best way to improve a groups activity is to go make a ship and do just that. Lead... and you -will- be followed."
In Gallia, the OC have contacts in the Gallic Junkers (who they're bullying into helping them establishing a foothold within Gallia) and the Brigands. Their only competitors are the Corse, and everyone else shoots Outcasts.
Your best bet is forging links with any Gallic Junkers there are.
How about we take ALL the LNS indies, and put them in Gallia with Gallic Battleships, and then we take ALL the Corsair indies, and put them in Alpha with Outcast Battleships.
I've seen indie French Battlesheps raid Alpha a few times, was interesting.

Last I checked - fighters, transports and freighters are sweet as, but ships over GBs aren't (GBs are tolerated if escorting.). And we don't so much like them pirating in Liberty unless we are in on it. Guessing we will help out with navy if we can, but we aren't their bodyguards - they gotta fend for them selves unless we are available.
Seriously though, that's not to say we aren't open for RP, We do still like you lot.
Just send a message and organise a joint convoy event with slaves/cardi or something.
Even if one person wants some extra cash/stuff to do, send something on the forums to Ruby, she is always after stuff.

Where have you been, Widow? This has already been done several times. In fact, we grabbed the guy in charge of joint-convoys and brought him in our chat. And he even made a separate one for all the smuggies. Though, recently not much has been done with that. So meh.
