There is no need to restrict the toys that people want to play with.
Bases are toys.
They are cool to play with.
And if you do not want your toy any more, you give it to someone else.
And if you are fed up with playing and nursing your toy, you throw it away and it ceases to exist.
So... ehm... where is the problem?
How about people loosen up a little?
Who the hell cares whether Sairs "deserve" 1, 2 or 3 or 99 bases? If anybody told me my faction could not have 2 bases because we are small, I would go like "FU, Hessians have Battleships, OC and Sairs have Warships, Houses ignore their economy, everybody has unlimited supplies of ships, ...) and you tell me I cannot have bases?". If you wanted to argue on this level, a lot needed to be regulated. And this is obviously not what people want.
Toys are there to be played with.
Restricting them is not the way, especially not in a game (and it is a game we play, not a science).
Quote:What is this supposed to mean? Did you own that base or something?
No, Hessians attacked it when it was at 50 % health and no one cared. So I know that it was badly supplied. Neglect was also that the defenders only showed up muuuch later. The real fight was for the last 20 %. And I was "Chuck Norris"-like in that fight because my bomber was almost invulnerable due to a weird bug. And everybody who was present knows about the repair ship that went totally crazy. I guess you were not there... was fun. And Cannon was right.

And this is sad. Even in Coronado, that should be a freelancers place you can't do nothing because it's claimed by CR. People are forgetting that freelancers along with official players are a part of this community. And if no one will think about they rights they will just leave. And sadly it's happening. I remember 2-3 years ago it was times I couldn't enter the server because it was full. Now I didn't seen it full for very long time. You guys are forgetting you was a noob once.
Priceless and really hitting the right spot. House navies "claiming" independent systems and demanding stuff kinda sux and should not be there.

I never said rules should not be respected. I just said why some bad things happen. And I try to get a bit of space for people without a tag of an official faction. Many of them are good at RP. But are limited in ability to change anything on server. That's all, nothing more.
Madvillain - where you got that Formal Apology blank? It's cool.
