Yes, the current HFs need to be palatable again. Armor and guns need a decent boost so they can take on their heavier and lighter cousins. As for the Vanilla VHFs, I'm sort of tempted...but I don't think so. The Titan just needs a load more armor, and the Saber should become more agile. Also...

MAKE MISSILES WORTH SOMETHING AGAIN.
BINGO - I fully agree!

It is an ongoing nonsence that the original SP Liberty->Bretonia->Kusari line is still alive in ship parameters like Defender -> Crusader -> Dragon. This way the backbones of these house militaries are unballanced - cannot be realistic.

Missiles should be made a valid weapon option.

ALL fighters should be target for insta kill by any weapon big enough (doesn't matter if mine, torp, missile or a huuuuge BS gun).

I voted no. Eagle Titan and Sabre are already a base staple of the game.

They have a place and they fit that place well. Making MK2 will just make them obsolete.
Concentrate of different other things.

Like making starwars disappear from Disco.
making new fighters where they are needed. Like faster corsair fighter...etc. etc.

I was liking the idea of simply replacing the models of the Vanilla ships with sleeker, shinier MK II versions. (So keep the Titan, but give it a newer model thats a bit more sleek, like the Praetorian)

But then Jinx had to remind me how much I miss coming home from a fight with both wings broken off and enemy heads in my trunk. I think the broken-off wing feature shouldn't be removed, and Vanilla ships with that feature should even be promoted. (With better stats) It also makes the game a bit more interesting if, halfway through, you loose a couple of guns. Sorta gives you a sense of doom, or pushes you to try harder.

"The thirteen saloons that had lined the one street of Seney had not left a trace. The foundations of the Mansion House hotel stuck up above the ground. The stone was chipped and split by the fire. It was all that was left of the town of Seney. Even the surface had been burned off the ground.
Nick looked at the burned-over stretch of hillside, where he had expected to find the scattered houses of the town and then walked down the railroad track to the bridge over the river. The river was there."

I am really not sure what could be done about this, but I am sure that a new series of fighters isnt really the answer. I really like the destructibility of the old ships. Made it hit home so much better in a big fight to lose a wing. I voted no.

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.

Please update the Stiletto, no one flies it, yet it could potentially be an awesome ship. Infact.... HF's in general need to be made usable. at the moment they incorporate all the lame elements of VHF's and LF's whereas they should be deadly little monsters.

Those HFs that are around are pretty good:

Hammerhead
Crow
Taiidan HF - best one

In case I haven't made it completely clear that I support the Make-the-Heavy-Fighters-Worth-Their-Weight movement, I am. The Hammerhead's a decent ship, the Crow is even better. Don't like the Taiidan, meself, but it does kick my ass almost every time I go up against it...
