Because people are just sitting and waiting for others to do something. I promissory you that if you raid Texas daily you'll have activity. Most activity in disco is at the forums
I could imagine that this thought would bring more activity again. However, in the end it's the players who decide to be active or not. One can't force them to. You have to take what you get, as long as it lasts.
I find it amusing having double or maybe even triple the amount of guests than members online in the forums sometimes.
Dunno if people are just being anonymous or just that many who haven't really signed up.

This is a good point. there seem to be quite a few mod players who cant be bothered to join the forum.
I have been 'away' for some time. Has anything changed?
Is it still a PvP server?
Do the devs still stonewall you?
Is diplomacy still about your Skype address book, rather than your ID?
I remember when this was an RP server and it was rammed..... I'll leave that one out there for you.
R.E: Activity, I say we need more concrete and achievable objectives, killing players is often pointless cos they just come back, player bases are good examples cos you can actually strike a blow and feel like you've achieved something, however thay are too hard to build and destroy to often accomplishthis.
Thats why i sugest shiploss on death (with a lowered shiprpice so you can afford it) and an extra type of base that is easier to build, easier to destroy, and has less factory modules.
So that playing is always more... meaningful.
