yes..the final build, however there was a limited feature release at the end of this year..
X3 Rebirth, very similar to freelancer style[than previous versions] released at November 15th,similar date as Star Citizens, even if singleplayer, still provides better RP environment than the state the server is..

The main problem is not cheaters, who logs to kill us from time to time, but the amount of items/money they share with the members of this community, I ,as a player,i see no reason to play fair, when i see most of those i know get dozens of billions,so i choose not to play..
People want to believe that God has a plan for them.
They don't wanna believe that anyone else does..

Oh ,really?
I've been watching for the last month or more, players getting cheating items and then getting away with it,doesn't do great for morale ,but i guess that's what they wanted to accomplish, only positive/funny things are the ones who get rare/unique items and get's banned, those who tried to be like them but failed[banned] and a fool who DDOS himself *big facepalm*
At Least DPC are getting bored, maybe they'll leave us alone, wishful thinking *pray*

No but if you learn to ignore the problem, you generally find that most aren't complete arsewipes and will still pew, RP and play as normal. Sure events and big gatherings get wrecked but there's always next time. They're still human, after all. Can't be everywhere all the time.
The select few that decide to tangle themselves with the DPC (such as the the DDoS incident you mentioned) are spineless children and are no fun to play with anyway.

Yeah I recently started a Carthaginian campaign. Just took my army through the Alps, and am currently in Cisalpine Gaul attacking Rome from the North, while I launch seaborn raids to sack cities in the south.
Dude I hope your not playing Vanilla. Download Europa Barbarorum if you haven't done so already. I'll just say your welcome now.
As for the op, yah, we all wished it moved faster, but it doesn't, cuz reasons.
Now on topic:
I agree with aerelm post on 100%. He pointed out the problems pretty well.
The solution is when he and others already invested a lot of time to learn things to do tutorials how they make the said things. Also they should offer Dev work packages to the community so the people/groups of people can contribute to the development.

Exploiting the bugs in the anti-cheat to edit .ini files (likely by using scripts) and screw everyone over with their nomad turrets going at 10 refire or whatever it may be. They're mixing and matching.
Not 100% sure if it's the .ini file editing that they're doing but that's what it sounds like. Either way, result's the same.
