Does anyone ever actually do that? I mean I can't imagine that would work calling for help anyway, if a pirate has the balls to pirate you in a place with navy/police I'm sure that pirate is prepared to deal with lawful's, plus why should they respond when there's a chance the pirate will just hand them their ass.
What I hate is the stupid rule 2 hours before they return to the system, againr well they can still be in the sys before or just after just not that one sys. I am more prepared now and awaiting the worst/ turrets on sight and ready to fire. It only happens once
WHOLLY I HIT A BIG NERVE HERE, NOT MY INTENTION AT ALL..........
I have read over 65 and more posts that is allot of reading to take into admission and absorb the comments. Yowsa. Some posts are just out right cruel, others are well spoken and thought through. Some players are just nit whits with the ignorant comments, I thank them for in game attacks " I improve on my defense skill" I get better and more deadly with my shots, so really who wins? My Macro KB and mouse have been vital in this game play, it's a true game KB in total I have 60 combos with a push or click of 1 button a mess of destruction comes at the attacker now. Sidewinders/ nuke mines and a nasty big hello from me and my clear attack
It's kind of cruel, and wrong I handle so much destruction, with a push of a button. Oh the icing on the cake that is a Sun-fire Torpedo. Now that is a bitch when your a little ship

Traders in 20 minutes makes 20.000.000. That's *3 for ore hauling.
Explain how piracy is lucrative in comparison to trading.
If there no pirates, lawfuls would get bored and the server would be even more empty. Pirates are the bread and butter of majority of interactions.
So honestly, stop complaining, that in multiplayer game, you are being attacked my multiple players. Get a wingmate yourself.
If you want to make money, go play a trader.
pirates/unlawfuls are just like lawfuls - pewpew roles, with unlawfuls having additional way to collect money, for the sake of in-game immersion.
You don't complain about lacking healing spells when playing a Rogue in a RPG, instead of a Priest.

only macros are not allowed here. so you just handed your butt out to the admin team.
I am not a native English Speaker, so i make grammar errors.
But it annoys me when people make silly comments about that... especially brits who for the most part can't speak their own language let alone anyone elses!

Macros that aid in combat are considered cheating, setting up one to chain fire for example.

As if lawfuls can't collect money...
Only from a specific character roles, called smugglers. And Smuggler's vulnerability to both lawful and unlawful parties is supposed to counter-balance their higher profitability, not to allow lawfuls/unlawfuls grind cash on them. There's no other "class" to grind cash other than Traders, their derivatives and mission-runners, the ones who would attempt to actually grind cash with piracy are doing something wrong.
IF smugglers have that higher income in-game, is another question.
Same goes for escorting - not a real money making, just having fun.
Cash grinding (in this case) - a set of (usually - repetitive) actions aimed at receiving maximum amount of in-game money per certain amount of time for the player's needs. Doesn't have much to do with playing the game, enjoying it, etc, especially at early stages of player's existence in game environment, where he has literally no choice but to grind, instead of having fun - because he will ultimately need that cash to have fun later on.
Lots and lots of pirates or just veteran players forget about it, and judge by themselves. It's a very different feeling when you're grinding for your first/second battleship and get heavily taxed (or even requested to drop whole cargo), because you lose your time and your "torture" gets elongated - or when you're a veteran player with hangars full of expensive toys - your personal reaction to losing whole cargo of ores will be absolutely different.
