List of unimportant things you shouldn't post in system channel:

- Pointing out that someone's missing an ID and arguing with the guy/girl and all the people around it that's in the rules and that they can be sanctioned about it and then going on about how they are clueless of the server rules etc, etc, etc.

- Pointing out that someone is OOCing in system chat. *slaps forehead*

- Complaining about anything that happened during a fight/destruction/pirating attempt etc.

- Saying "//gf". If you are feeling frolic and light hearted about a fight, then you probably can find a name to do the same through PMs.

- Saying that someone is doing something outside of the rules. Saying that you're going to report someone.

All of the above and some related (those were the ones that came from the top of my head) aren't important enough to deserve the // markings in system channel and should be taken to PMs. Unfortunately a great number of players (more experienced players included), consider some/all of these important enough to bother everyone else with them.

Sometimes it looks like what we really have is a popularity contest, rather than people trying to solve in game issues. Feels like, when someone // marks a sentence to point out one of the above, that they are saying:

"Look everyone, I know the rules and the idiot here doesn't/I'm cool and this one here is lame."

Well, guess what everyone else is really thinking.

EDIT: By the way, "Funselie" was fun.

NY is the center of Sirius so you gotta remember that when talking about this subject.
But I dont see the point of just comming to NY to sit around and talk non-sense while doing nothing.

I came to NY in my Whale yesterday to bring passangers from NY to Munich and I left right away once I landed. Newbies telling a person who was getting fined by the SA for carrying coladas to F1 out. Aswell as people asking random people for loans and just continuous random non sense.

As well once i was in NB agiain. I see the Cethedrale de Quebec (Cant spell it) gettign like a kill a second by a Blindman continuously colliding with the Dreadnaught.
As well as Living.Room.Fireplace , Flying.Toaster.Oven, Etc doing the exact same thing.
That kills the RP completly.

But the person who brought up the idea of Starting system that transports you to the place you should be is a great idea. Speeds up the fixing RP buisness.

My Sugesstions:
MASS recruitment drives by UoG, KNF and BAF to create large action in Bretonia and in the Taus

Im very GLAD I diddnt choose the option to make the Sprit_Of_Fire liberty based and join the SA. SA's fleet admiral wanted me to sign up with my GB. But being Order keeps me away from Liberty and all the garbage that goes on there.

Well instead of that, and other odd (by my standards) suggestions we could just add roving patrols of 20 Nomad Battleships around the whole system and justify the Keepers being there (which I have no problem with now, it just seems others do, and lets not get off topic and start on about Keepers, if you would indulge me).

err... no... nomads thanks. Liberty isn't weak at that point of letting passing 20 battleship patrols...
plus, its really, really bad for starters. When I first started, I was rammed to death at the second I came out by a npc dreadnaught.
A newbie dont want to launch and see that kind of horror show when he starts..

Another way to depopulate NY is for your friendly neighbourhood terrorists or hostile militaries such as the Phantoms or the SCRA to invade Texas.

The SCRA managed to drag the SA out of their NY system-camping earlier on today, and dragged their whole available fleet into Texas.

thats nice. But as I said, it's only a temporary situation of collective welfare that is a fight. until we have 200 SCRA members accross the world that can relay each other day and nights every day around Liberty... XD

The NY problem is like the capships problem. Its Hard to control and stabilize. Sometimes you think, we should just let it drift and be as is

Admins, I implore you, let us kill the darned idlers, underlevel or else!:P

A good idea would be to basically kill Manhattan in the next version (KABLOWIE, courtesy of Harbinger:P) and move the "Liberty HQ" to.. somewhere else.

You'd be blowing up a system every version then.

Population control; mass enforced migration; genocide.

So these are the solutions to the recent burst in the population of Manhattan?

The true fascist nature of the Liberty regime is apparent. You will note that the reckless criminals who pose as authorities in NY (the lsf and their ilk) have profited greatly from the large number of ships that ply their trade in orbit.

Why are the LPI not issuing parking fines, or citing pilots for disrupting the traffic. (these would be small fines, obviously, not the kind of extortion practised by the Rheinlanders). Isn't this what the police do? Aren't the LPI just traffic cops anyway?

There are advantages to the swarms of proles near Manhattan: it is prime recruiting ground for the Xeno, and our transmissions there are paying off. Also it offers us a prime target for our occasional "terrorist" raids. Where else but crowded public places to bring terror?

As for PvP, this xeno has learned all too slowly the folly of engaging anyone in NY - there are FAR too many capital ships and unemployed rentacops nearby.
