So.. Guys.. maximum class I'll allow until Igiss, Sam and I come up with a better ruling is CRUISER. Anyone flying around in those ships with battleship shield will be asked to remove them, or i'll remove them myself until we get a better ruling.

Just my 2 sence i liked the old rule crusiers are alloed BS sheilds...... mad my little bank feel more secure. oh well just have to wait and see what pans out.

PS Anyone with a spare crusier sheild.... want to sell it? in the mean time im assuming i can use my gunboats sheild on it.

Coz I do Think they should be allowed............. They have been allowed for as long as I been on here so why should one Guy kicking up and asking a cupple question Change that.
But its not my place to make the Rules.....

Anyways ill just go get a BS if they decide that they wont allow people to put back BS sheilds on crusiers, or if they decide the Lux aint a crusier.
No Loss for me there give me a excuse to get that Brit BS i want.

May i point out to you Dab the Following.

BS Shield can only be mounted on BS's or Cruisers
Cruisers on Cruisers or Gunboats
Gunboat Shields on Gunboats or lower

It was Wolfs Suggestion after all that a crusier could have a BS sheild and as such I take that as gospel.

Personally, i'll only allow BS shields on either Battleships or Cruisers. Nothing else.

Cruiser shields on cruisers or gunboats.

Gunboat shields on freighters I think i would allow.

I know the Rule on the Gunboat sheild has changed since then as he made me take mine off RIGHT AFTER I put it on from reading that particular Topic, something I WAS NOT HAPPY ABOUT, waste of several mil that experiance...... Grr

Anyways Thease are the Latest rules that I know of apart from the ones at the top of the topic of course.

And there for dont go telling me that BS sheilds have not been allwed on Crusiers for over a year because Wolf said they were only a cupple months ago

Which Brings me Back to the only argument that you might have been makeing is that a Lux is not a Crusier.......... Which I Belive it is.


I also want to Appoligise if i seem a little angery and look like im pushing my point but I am really getting sick of rule Changes as far as sheilds go i have blown so much money over rule changes it is no longer funny.

First I fited out 3 trains with gunboat sheilds coz Wolf Stated in two topics that was allowed then have them Like A week and had to put old ones back when wolf saw me online (Would have been nice if he had posted that he had changed his mind instead of telling me in person on the sever once I had bought them.).......Anyways By which point I had had gotten rid of the old ones so I had to bye them again...... Then you want me to ditch my BS sheild...... There not cheap to come by so im sorry if I dont want to give it up....... Someone needs to make up there mind and Stand bye it. This continusly changing sheilds is getting rather Annoying.

Personaly I like the old rule as stated above

and I dont see why that cant be left as is with just the gunboat Sheild revision, but if it must be changed. I like the idear out of one of the above topics of having like class 11 12 13 ect... sheilds for Trains onwards to stop the cunfusion but thats a lot of programing for Igiss and everyone.

Guys, the whole BS Shield on Cruisers, etc was never resolved. It likely never will be.

Okay, since I stated before that BS Shields can be on Battleships and Cruisers, I'm gonna have to talk with Igiss to see if he agrees with this or if we need to define this more.

I know we're looking for a rule change to keep things fair across the board, but come one.

I know what the infocard says, it surprised me when I first fired the inferno BS turret that I'd mounted on my old liner.

If I remember right firng the inferno just once took only about 3 of the little blocks, and because of the slow refire it'd nearly recharged 2 blocks when it fired the second shot.

Thats why I mount slow firing energy weapons on my cap-ships. At least some of the energy will have recharged before the next shot, so you get more shots.

As for shields I don't see why using BS shields on a cruiser would be bad, as long as the cruiser was set-up too kill NPC nomad BS patrols.

Which would mean not anti-shield weapons, no missiles or torpedos or flaks, just energy weapons.

An if they change the turrets to include ones that don't seem to do much to a NPC nomad BS, eg. missiles or torpedos or flaks, then they have to go get a cruiser shield or have they're shield removed.

hmm, marauder, a Huggy armed like that is a fighter-killer, NPC or PC.
and if it has a BS shield (like Assassin's Codename-A7), you need 5 Tizonas to take down the shield quickly enough to have a chance b4 it regenerates.
