You should not be outside your ZOI then, escorting people. That's a freelancer's job.

Second why would you think that being in the same group when doing so would results in a sanction. Chat list is an ooRP tool. Just like you cannot sit in Penny on a police char and go in local: Hey there is an outcast in California who wants to help me go get him. .../ just because you saw there is one on the chat list/ the same applies to groups.

And third , you really think that because Exiles can escort, their zone of influence should be extended to another 2 or 3 systems? Why on earth would the exiles have any influence in Cortez for example? Just because it makes it easier for them to escort a trader? They have Bretonia, Taus and Kyushu in their ZOI, which makes sense and is also enough.

I can understand Coronado, because it belongs to CR. But Cortez is also BAF jurisdiction, so technically is also part of Bretonian Territory. I can agree it's a Freelancer job, if transport is going from Liberty, but Kusari Exiles are Bretonian allies and should have option to just cover transports which purpose is to supply their cause.

Also, I didn't know there's a Hole between Roussilion and Newcastle. That's new for me, was it introduced in 4.88 or late 4.87?

Anyway I dont think Exiles would escort transports behind the line you know... Their goal is kinda different.

Exile's main ZoI would be Taus where they are considered as Unlawful by KNF, KSP, GRN, GRP
Then Bretonia where they are more like Quasi-lawful and same about Kusari, NOWADAYS

So yeah, Quasi-lawful would fit them in this mod. Anyway about Council... Their main ZoI is GALLIA, where they are considered as Unlawfuls... Give them Lawful or so and GRN can gtfo xD

The problem with this is that lawfulness isn't an attribute acquired based on where you operate, but what your relation with those around you. Council operates in Gallia, Taus, Bretonia, and has made attempts at commercial expansion towards outside of our ZoI, Liberty mainly. The only place where we are considered unlawfuls without doubt is Gallia, in Taus it depends on who you ask, and in that half of Sirius we roll around we are considered lawfuls. This lack of flexibility of the lawful/quasi-lawful/unlawful classification system is the main issue.

Implying I would rather hire a random unknown individual to ensure the safety of our own transports than assign some of our own fighter pilots whom I definitely know and trust better than a random freelancer.

What about a pirate offering a trader an "escort" to the edge of the pirate's ZoI? I've added this to my "demand" on several occasions (only had a Zoner accept it, so far).

Theoretically, some of the more ideologically-driven factions may want to ensure that a certain cargo is definitely not going to a place they don't want it to go, and thus fly alongside a lawful trader until they leave the pirate's ZoI. Would this be allowable per ID rules?

Admins have said in the past that RP demands are a perfectly acceptable action.

For example, a Corsair catches a transport full of food stuff in the Omegas. He could demand that the trader change his intended route and bring the goods to Crete while the corsair shadows/"escorts" him there.

But what if, say, a Hessian "bounces" the trader. Can the Corsair leap to his defence, even tho he is, for example, Bowex? And can the two of them be grouped so they can co-ordinate said defensive action?
