I really hope I'm misunderstanding while reading this thread, but is the complaint here really that 1 player is being killed when facing off against 3-5 if the single player sticks around for 4-5 minutes?

If that is the case, I honestly don't know what to say other than grow up. Just because you decided to spend an extra 20 hours grinding credits to buy a battleship doesn't mean that you should be able to roflstomp the entire server.

This about making fighters more realistic and not effective against bigger targets. their purpose is fighting with fighters-bombers but looks like none want this.

Admins lock this thread, not going anywhere anyway or delete it.

If you so want a realistic experience, then let's make it so that you have to aim every single one of your guns individually from the view of each individual turret. Let's also make it so that your ship turns about one degree per half an hour or lose hull due to excesive effort on the hull, move at 10ms and each turret turns 4 times slower.

Let's see how much you like realism.

If players wanted realism, it is likely that capital ship turrets would have auto-aim alike to the PHALANX system used on the modern naval carriers.

They also wouldn't be able to hit something as nimble as a fighter any further than 500m out...

Just out of curiousity, is it possible to make it so that a ship's attributes changes when you enter turret view? Ie. you get autoaim but sacrifice turn rate/movement speed etc.?

You never mentioned a fighter with the battleship you said in order to kill one battleship it takes 1/10th of the community on Bombers to put it down.

My point is it only takes 3.

Even if you have a fighter with the bs some Bombers have good snac aim.
