the whole point of bats was to have them not take up cargo space in the first place.

if we are going to raise the price to "make it harder to use and/or create a money sink" we should go the whole hog and make them take cargo space again

that's even dumber than the former suggestions. Just do what I suggested and keep it at ammo price range, there's no reason to make discovery even more of a chore.

just increase prices and it will be less common for ships to use it or use it sparingly.
give cargo space again would just be a step to killing it. Not making it better.
Prices shouldn't be raised for one, actually, two reasons:
- Cloaking time is very short, it's already below 4 minutes.
- Cloak itself is a very expensive tool (basic MK1 costs like a cruiser).
TL;DR Weren't cloaks nerfed too much already?
Also, you are excluding people who don't trade much and raising price to make it a moneysink (for a few) makes these players thinking there's no point in owning such a cloak.
You are throwing child with a bathtub.
My idea in regard to moneysinks: If people have too much credits, why not to make some charity then?
More like we are promoting more trading to happen.
And also
1 trade run can make like 20-60 or even more mill. What is the issue here?
In response to the money sinks comment at the end... for me I keep on spending cash for investing in things . perhaps people can do that same thing too.

Show me the trading for these money WITHOUT mining anything, please?

Not all people really want to spend all the time on their trading characters. And I'm saying that as trader, smuggler and pirate.

Why making crucial things a "moneysink" must affect the poorer players? You have too much credits?
Fund someone else's SRP, fund other poorer faction, fund their officialdom status, for example... or simply give these money to random low-level players in order to help them.
Simply, why not to introduce idea of moneysink that does not affect other players? We are now teaching new players to powertrade in the time of lowest player count to gain money for their characters.
As for the proposal, you are already beating a half-dead horse. Cloaks became so nerfed there's no sense in obtaining them anymore. Raising ammo price - lovely idea, make people hate credit grinding even more.
