I believe mining field drops and profit/s should be standardised, with the only variation being between ID bonuses. Also, fields should be chosen for competition and general interaction. Player bases within mining fields should be banned outright, and fields should be sufficient distance from the nearest dockable to encourage piracy, but not so far that it becomes a hindrance.

Once this is accomplished, a small buff on one or two ores that cycles regularly would be a great activity generator.

As others already said... nerfing more the mining will make no miners loging anymore. There are players who like to play totally lawfuls and we dont like smuggling or tradding.

For some players, mining is our main gaming. Note the mining work need 2 or more players usually

I vote NO to changes.

Since the days of Echo's mining dev time I've tried to report glaring issues with the system. The result of this was 1.5 years of buffed uncut diamonds.

I feel like, despite being by far the most important part of discovery economy, mining has taken a back seat in development. It's obvious that mining development is not really taking place, or we wouldn't have issues like Gold Ore [x3], no Junker routes for Pscrap, GMS absolutely destroyed, etc.

The mod lacks a mining developer that actually mines.

And this is what we need. AKA Karst is the man for the job.

Voting no. Some factions got really screwed by the changes. Two particular ones I'm familiar with and have issues with are GMS and DSE ids. They really need to be looked at.

There are some things I like, namely alternative unlawful sell points, there has been a noticeable uptick (at least on ships I pilot) of pirates taking several hundred units of ore vs taking credits.
