A continuation from this thread, I have come up with 2 models and would like to hold a poll.

OPTION A

What do you get when you take an Osiris and modify it? Well this is what you would get.

Based this model upon the current Osiris with some modifications here and there.

OPTION B

My Homage to the Kushan Missile Destroyer
An asymmetrical design was made to accommodate the docking ports with the relolver type loading ports.

I would like to hold a poll, and let the community decide.

NOTE: Poll ends after 30 days. The Model with the most Votes will be hardpointed, Hitboxed and submitted.

Feedback if any would be much appreciated

I'd say front from V1 and rest from V3

V3 has epic engines and rear, but V1's front looks better for me.

Vote went for V3 tho

I think option B is the best one.

My vote goes for V1, but with the nose of V3 without those yellow-black warning stripes

This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.

My brief analysis on A:

The first one obviously takes evolution of the Osiris from vanilla, and takes some inspiration from the Resheph's engine, whilst endorsing the carrier theme of having enlarged 'rumps' and docking modules, it gives it a significant shape symbolising power and fearlessness, reinforcing this idea with the 'spear head'.

Combining with the usage of the textures and the dynamic of the shape, it does a good job at recalling Liberty inheriting some shapes such as the tower domes and the bird-like stare at the front of the ship (similar to the LABC's nature)

The textures are well done but the hazard strips seem a bit out of place as the yellows are too saturated, drawing attention to the front hangars. Either tone down the saturation or 'shorten' it, it's too much on the nose.

but all in all, I highly prefer the first one, as it does resemble a ship, as the other does look like something out of Nexus - yes, it's a homage to homeworld, but it doesn't suit the 'organic evolution' of the Order's ship line - personally.

I'd vote option A, but couldn't we just have someone else doing the texture jobs for your models?

The first one gets my vote though I think the small dome on the underside looks a little odd perhaps replace with a dish or some other sensory looking stuff? I'd also consider moving the launch tubes further out from the centre and maybe putting them at a slight angle so it doesnt look like the fighters would hit the nose section when "fired" out.
Overall it looks sweet.

I'd prefer option 1.

V3 looks way better from the back, V1 Geb has morelike the same engine as the Liberty Dreadnought. Plus, the first option seems to be lighter and has at least something new to apport esthetically talking. I bet for the first option.

V3 has a nicer front section - but the mid section of V1 looks much better ... or at least not as similar to the Osiris.
The mid to rear of V1 are much better than V3 (mesh-wise as well as design wise) - the two vertical engines on V3 look too much like a kit-bash and they do actually look pretty lost on that very flat surface they are attached to.

If you cannot mix model variations anymore - i d go for V1 rather than V3, because more of the ship design is original and better proportioned .. and also because the rear on V3 does not look very good.

I'll take the one that isn't a boring Osiris variant please.
