and your words, SA is changing this loadout in the next mod, you think that we will fly with tiger shark when is arwing and decurion ok?
i only hope one, that bug show, and you will happy that something invisible hit you. then you can say that it is fair. because arwing and tiger shark have exactly the same stats. only difference is, that in one ship you can see what it has mounted,on other no. so what is more fair?
and i see nothing simple on sanction about using civilian weapons... ( why we use tiger shark was explained above)

but i agree with you, that is true colour that some people can not live with fact,that they loose event. when we come with light fighters and we loose, you think someone say something? nooo but when we win......

No one has said why its ok for Blood Dragons to use them aswell as Outcasts, and don't come with the allies with the Lane hackers because it doesn't cut it.

I know people will disagree with me, but in the case of civillian guns, I feel they are a free for all, not overpowered by any means.

Also if we are starting to go this far... how would you explain whole liberty mounting more than 4 BHG guns on each ship, that they can't buy in any place in Liberty?

@Molijnar: Where are the 4 Codes you have mounted on your RM sold in Rhienland? BH guns are used mostly by SA bought from a faction they are allied too. Dont throw stones at others while your so vunerable to counter-attack mate, not a flame or attack man, just making a point.

That "we are not supposed to do" this is where the problem lies... nobody knew it was against the rules up until today. I don't see it in the rules now either.... but that's another question

About this, honestly I had no idea it was against the rules either, and I never complained about it, but now that an admin said it is, I guess it should be accepted and not dragged through a pointless thread that will in the end..change nothing? What's the point of complaining about a thing that cannot be changed seriously?

TBH has RP deal with CR (their allies) about getting the Tigershark... yet they get sanctioned for it?

The SA has a deal with BHG and we're actually neutral to them in the lists, because that's how they are and as such can make a plausible alliance. All of the places where you can get civ shield busters are hostile to you and as such the alliance to get them is rather shaky at best.

They come from a wreck sitting at Omega 11, 30k from Stuttgart JG, with Daumann patrols around. You miss the point here.. I think it's ok to use civilian guns.. I think it's ok to use Buckshots when your guns are unusable, point was that other people started throwing stones.. not seeing what they use themselves.

is this how we gonna play from now on?....if this will be the case i will surely remove debilitators from my xeno eagle...but, lately some things have gone quite far...

One thing must be perfectly clear, any limitations of that sort will very much ruin that little balance we had so far...

Fact is that this mod, no matter how good it may be, simply doesn't support hard core role playing in the means of balance and such ruling that are being put here...

This will become a presedan, and soon sanction reports will be filled with reports...

Although corsairs using debs isn't really kosher, since they are one of two factions who have their own busters, but limitations for every single pirate faction that doesn't have any relations with outcasts or corsairs is too much...too much for this mod release...

Civilian weapons should be by default accessible for everyone who doesn't have any of their own...Base hostile or not, some generic weapons should be possible to get from local weapons dealers for higher price...that supports role play as well as doesn't ruin the balance...

what is for me most sad on this is fact, that it was me who find bug of arwing, i know it is great thing for us, but it was total unfair to our enemies, so i suggest to use tiger shark, not better as arwing,but more fair for enemy. because you fight different when you go again lf with 4 guns, and when you go again lf with 2 missiles. but it turns again us...

I agree with you Doom, it should be available for everyone, but now that it was said by an admin that it is not. What is the point in arguing about it? It just makes some people look stupid, some people look like whiners, and some people look plain childish, myself included in one of those, but I do not care. I just think that discussing this further has no meaning as it will not change. And complaining and dragging personal issues into this is a thing I dislike. I came here because some of the corsairs kept pulling SA into this, and it just baffled me that some people can be so childish. As soon as you get beat with a stick you point a finger to someone else and say "Why didn't he get beat too!? He did the same damn thing!". That's what I call childish, especially when you don't think about that other person's excuse, or perhaps a reason why he's done this. And such is not that a community should be, one should learn to accept the things that happened with a certain degree of dignity, not like this.

Are you implying that the admins are working or something for the outcasts? And that a great injustice has been done here?

my tiger shark is flying 3 or 4 months, and it was ok for our enemies until some tiger sharks beat sabres and we win event... and that is childish.... what you make when someone from SA will be sanctioned for using supernova. you say why arguing about it? all think that SN is for all, and all was thingking that civilian weapons are for all too.

The reason why this argument exists against the corsairs is that they have their own shieldbusters, yet mounted civilian shieldbusters which in general, are worse than corsair shieldbusters.

The same argument is moot against the SA, because the Vengeance mk8 is a bugged, sub-par weapon that needs to be un-nerfed. Thus, they are using the buckshots, which compensate for the fact that they actually do enforce the law as the main part of their RP.

The problem the Corsairs have, however, is the fact that they have no level 8 shieldbuster, and on LFs, must rely on the use of a civilian weapon to stay competitive.

This argument is over. It's turning into a bash corsairs thread over what was stated above. The problem is not the corsairs. The problem is that they have no level 8 Pulse weapons.

Until the next mod version comes up with weapons for them, I really don't see much of an issue.

Yes, RPing with the strictest weapon configurations and ships is very important. This conversation can go either way. The Corsairs can accuse the accusers of whining because the corsairs can win, and the accusers can accuse the corsairs of whining because they can't have competitive LFs without shieldbusters.

When push comes down to shove, its the interactions that matter, not who wins or loses. I see no problem with the corsairs mounting Advanced Debilitators for now if it helps them RP.
