Balanced hostile factions?

For caps the Council and GRN are equal(due to the fact that the Council just stole GRN ships) and the only difference for the BS is that the Redemption has 4 heavies and no FWG. Snub wise I have no idea. Never seen Council ships in action.

Oh yes. And the Redemption can actually compete with the Valor (it has 6 cerbs, not 4, but it can fire maximum 5 to one direction, broadside). It's not very useful against cruisers and especially battlecruisers, though. It's big, turns slowly, doesn't have many secondaries and doesn't have a FG. I've heard that Council snubs were bad, but I'm no snub expert, so that's unconfirmed.

Redemption sucks compared to valor

regarding obstinate - LABC comparison i find obstinates stronger than LABC, maybe its just whichever Works for you better. Obstinates have small size for a battlecruiser *cough* smaller than CR cruiser *cough*, can Dodge well, has good arcs

The GRN Battlecruiser and Council battlecruiser are both alot smaller than the CR Cruiser. This doesn't make sense, more guns, armor, power, smaller size? uh right okay haha... Not only this but the Valor out matches the Zephyr but we will see what happens with the new CR Dread that will be here soon.

But snub wise, we just had a bomber buff and it seems okay right now, still doesn't feel quiet like the bomber stats we were promised but it is alot better than what it was before. The Nyx on the other hand I keep getting told it is a great fight but I still don't believe it compared to the Lynx, Sabre or Rapier, they just all move alot faster, more agile and so on. But again it may be down to the CR guns being really bad and bad 600 m/s are hard to use.

The Gunboats CR has a gunboat with 6 guns and very thin, compared to the GRN Gunboat with 6/7 guns and a forward gun and the OC Tridente with 8 guns 6 firing forward and 6 firing backwards, it seems a little low on class there.

Kind of yes. But they don't fight often, so my way of destroying Valors with a Redemption, even with the cerbs nerfed, is useful because people don't know it. If the Valor did know, the Valor would win.
