Well if you want a faction that focuses both on RP and PVP you can try Custodi. We're trying to go for what I think was the original idea of Corsairs - a faction themed around Greece. We currently have just enough people to log from time to time.

Sounds like LH~ actually. They are closed economy and have a rather immersive gameplay. And well their recruitment is the best on disco.

you start off with either an arrow, camara, or kingfisher in AFC and you get a mission from HQ to do based on what your character traits are. You also need to get yourself an upgraded Arrow with cheetah and armor upgrade 8 to pass the trail of Virgin status.

Once you do all this and earn your tag (colors) you have different branches to try to specialize in. You can be a racer and earn racing achievements. You can be a smuggler with achievements or a fighter/escort.

The main point for closed economy for AFC is to make cash in faction to then support your racing hobby. We have lots of racing events that I try to organize when I have time or you can challenge the club members or if you are lucky you can find someone else outside of AFC to race. You use the money not only on ships but also on betting and we race in lanes against traffic or race rings. We will soon even have our own.

Also another part of our faction is our party aspect and exotic entertainers and party ships we use for rp fun. Ah and we also have a even harder hardcore mode if you want to try that: your ship dies and you delete all progress with that character.


There some more things to it like chapters and what not... But I hope you get the general idea.

Edit: we also have the idea of a penalty system where you pay our bank for 'repairs' if your ship gets shot down with also insurance to cover you if you wanted. This is all still being finalized though... As I keep on forgetting to do it....
That money goes to investment into Club things.

I agree with Antonio. Everyone is so caught up with promoting their own faction it's pretty bad. A police faction would be a good fit. Skorak leads LPI get in touch with him.
