Leaves the question why every single word abused by the third Reich still has to only have the third Reich meaning after over 70 years.

Because it was one of the darkest chapters in known history of mankind? Not to mention there are still millions of people who either experienced horrors of that time, or at least heard about them from direct witnesses. Maybe in year 2500 no one will care about SS, Hitler, gas chambers and such anymore because it will be ancient history for majority of people, but 70 years is by far not enough to get rid of associations which these words make. Especially to people from Europe.
