Using the ingame player list to "see" ships in other systems? Is your ship in RP really capable of doing that? Where can i purchase that scanner for i want on to! *sniff*

It isnt unreasonable to assume that the order has scanning platforms positioned throughout their space in order to keep track of all ships within it.

I only pay attention to ships in omicron minor, omicron delta, alaska, omicron 100, and omicron major via the chat system. Those are all within or very closely bordering order space.

PS. Initiating threats were all you, something about turning my piece of space junk into dust.
I simply suggested in response that you staying in your guard system would lead to a longer life biggrin.gif

Here's exactly how the conversation went (i have screenshots if I need to post them, the following lines are taken directly from them):

to be honest, if you were flying a fighter i probably couldnt have hit you if i wanted to.

... but just wait till i get my missile boat... :P

I took the insults you threw out as in-character, and assumed that you were a hostile faction member knowingly moving through hostile space. Really, all you had to do was say you're an ally/zoner and just passing through and there wouldnt have been any trouble. I just try to keep tabs on whoever comes into minor/100 so I know who should and shouldnt be there, and so I can do my job more effectively (tracking down and destroying the illegal trespassers).

Sure, I may have 'asked' in a pretty hostile tone, but that's because I was already dealing with several other smugglers at the time and was getting frustrated with it.

You will see a new Order Cruiser(or bigger) by the end of today. It will be in 100 as soon as i get the rep, and will KOS any non order it see's.

If the smuggler is hostile with the guard, he can go through, not breaking a server rule. Its up to the players to stop him. And that route definitely isn't more OORP as Diamond and Niobium traders going through Chugoku every minute of every day..

If you can't stop him, get over it. He made a smuggling run legitimately, and its up to Order players to stop those people. You don't want to deal with them all day, then DON'T. Go do what Bs| is doing.. Play in another system and ignore the smugglers.

Enough with the bickering, whining, arguing.. Its not doing anything at all. None of you are going to back down, especially true of Akumabito, so all of this accomplishes nothing.. I feel a thread lock would be best right now, since this has been a flame war since post 5 or so..

Unfortunatly most people who attempt to RP the whole "code-breaking" bit do it in a quick and clean manner, much like the "1 mil or die" demand. *shrug* I figure code-breaking RP should involve holding your position (IE; not moving at all) while facing the gate and upload roughly 10% of the hacking program every two seconds or something like that. That's just me though... Heh
