Quote:You are allowed, under the rules to have an exception as long as you are working on fixing it, which I was.
So what's the point in having rules if there are going to be exceptions? Isn't "working on fixing" it subjective to opinion? Admin bias? Right? Your line of thinking?

As long as the exceptions are temporary inconveniences and people are not out pvp whoring in them, what's the harm?
Working on fixing is somewhat subjective, but it is pretty easy to assign a reasonable amount of time to it, right?
How long does 3/4 of a battle ship take? Weeks? A month? Certainly if that amount of time has not passed, and the person has not much server time (which can be verified) then it hasn't gone past reasonable, right?
To all posting here I'd like to point out this is a pointless discussion, the matter has been settled.
Akumabito, this is directed at you and solely you. You can choose to ignore it, but to do so will make you all that you claim others to be.
This list is hard and fast, get a ship on the red section with no RP and expect a hoofing, get a ship on the yellow section with no RP, get a hoofing, get a ship on the green list without RP, go about your day just fine.
Rp here refers to the RP of ship acquisition not Character RP, as that must be present in all characters regardless of ship.
Add RP to any of those sections and you can expect to get away with that ship. Provided that RP is accessible. Done.
What does it add? It makes it easier for those that want qa diffeerent ship choice to know how much work is required to get it. Green: None, Yellow: Some, Red: Lots. Done.
Stop misrepresenting other folks points. Done.

Going back and forward in a train is something a half-trained monkey could do. Congratulations on managing such a difficult task.

If you were going to replace it anyways, you could have just sold it right then and there, THEN went and made the money back. Instead, you went around PVP-whoring in it.
Don't quote 6.22 at me. You were PvPwhoring. "Working on fixing" means getting on your damn trader, miner, smuggler, whatever, and making the credits to fix it instead of sitting on your BLOOD IDed, BLOOD TAGGED Bretonian Battleship and saying "I'm fixing it! Just wait a few years!"

Again, if you want the truth you can have it. If you don't, well, this is the kind of post we could expect from someone without much sense of right and wrong, right?
It's not a hard question to answer if you are an honest man. Do you want to actually investigate the circumstances of those screenies and determine if they were sarcasm or not?
Why are you afraid to answer?

Well, seeing as I didn't go around pvp whoring in it, what does that make you?

I'm not afraid to answer. Any semi-literate clown could read between the lines and see that I'm calling you out on being a liar and that your RP for your battleship was worse than hepatitis.

But you did. It is my opinion and everyone else's. Power creates truth. You lose, since no one agrees with you. If we all firmly believe in our heads you were pvp whoring, YOU WERE PVPWHORING. Truth is not defined by rules. Truth is defined by WHAT WE SAY.

Del, I've never ignored a single valid point that I have read. I leave that for faction leaders. Often I'm dealing with a bunch of spam from you faction leaders, thinly veiled insults, sometimes direct insults, and somewhere in that garbage I might miss something.
If you want honest discussion clean your own house. Stop the factionspam and these threads will get a lot more civil.

OK, what's a hoofing, what is the quantity of the RP and who decides?
And why is that better than a simple, clean yes or no list?
' Wrote:Rp here refers to the RP of ship acquisition not Character RP, as that must be present in all characters regardless of ship.
I'm not sure what you mean here. There is no requirement for character RP to play on the server. The rest is nebulous, and until you can quantify it how am I supposed to know that this isn't simply a way for factions to tilt PvP in their favor? Because that is what it looks like to me.
' Wrote:Add RP to any of those sections and you can expect to get away with that ship. Provided that RP is accessible. Done.
No, because the RP isn't good enough until the factions decide it is good enough, right? And safeguards are there that the factions are going to be fair? Quantify the amount of RP if you are going to make it a requirement, otherwise this stinks of an elitist powergrab, the embodiment of "we can walk all over the less organized or smaller groups of people who disagree with us on the server".

You can fly (almost) any ship you want even if you need the ID that actually matches it already, right?
So no one is being denied a ship by a black and white list, right? They just have to actually fly the ID that matches the ship. Why is that a bad thing?
' Wrote:I'm not afraid to answer.
Yes you are. You are afraid the truth will be inconvenient for you, and you are running from it as fast as you can.
