I've seen 2 sieges
Both vs shielded Base with no defense players logged
And it just looked so sad with the cap players afk holding a button for hours

Why I think oorp have longer declaration where both sides recruit more players would make it more enjoyable

EDIT: And at the same time nerf the defense capabilities of shields etc. so an undefended base goes down faster if the owner can't bother to muster up defenses. It's guaranteed to die anyways, it just seems such a waste of time for the attackers


I personally stay away from both building and sieging Pobs it just doesn't look like fun

Q: how long is the time between declaration and attack?
E.g. As an indie it'd be cool if the defender of high cores had e.g. a week to send RP requests
Know the exact time of siege that long ahead
And recruit indies and freelancers for money for the defense

Boom, you have a mini event
Instead of the current sieges that are worse to witness than watching paint dry

Then the Corsairs should have (realistically they, in my opinion, should do their own RP and Attack Declaration anyway) should not be included in your Attack Declaration and should have posted their own.

Sounds like there is a case for the Enclave to have attacked illegally. They should cease and desist IMMEDIATELY, await the decision of the GM, pay compensation for the current damage, and be banned from attacking for a fortnight or more.

Trying to defend Goldgeist is just a delay. In my case, I have just got home, am working long hours, and cannot spend enough time to supply it with top-ups let alone spend the time with a rallying cry on the forums. Wrong time zone for me too. Noted there were 5-6 ships attacking it but no defence at all. No doubt the siegers will call it a victory, I would call it a very hollow one.

Then why did you purchase/took over if you don't have time?

Why are you managing POB if you don't have numbers required to defend it? Are you unable to call local lawfuls for help? Hire bounty hunters or mercenaries to assist you? Seems like you lot are complaining that team effort triumphs your inability to respond in same teamwork.

Even if you are essential healthcare provider, you do not get the right to be on your high horse, thinking you are better than everyone else. Instead of implying that others can stay home and do nothing, you could have said that you simply don't have enough time. And even then, you seem to have too many POBs to begin with, so why you are trying to get more is beyond common sense.

I am medicine student. I worked in ER. I know a thing or two about being exhausted or having no time. That is never an excuse to demand some exceptions so that you are less prone to being regular player on Disco with same rights, opportunities and risks.
