Say you surrender and will do whatever demand they have If you don't think you can defend, just like with pirates.

And the new recent rule says that demand has to be reasonable.

There is protection for Core 2+ this way, people just don't seem to be using it properly. Or keep misjudging who the strong side is


Only ambiguity GMs refuse to clarify is when a demand has to be raised. But This siege there was no such thing as you shoot corsairs down Shitloads of time and start to RP only when losing

You mean that comm at 2am by spectre an hour before the base went down after a 50hour siege? I would for all intents and purposes call that too late yes. The rule says - demands must be reasonable. All you have to do, is do friendly RP and ask for demands just as siege starts.

Instead a defense was mounted with no RP as owner couldn't even find the time to post on forums... If someone with Core2+ plays it right, finds out who the strong group is they should ally with and fulfill all their demands and RP positive towards them yet the siegers still refuse well then there is a problem.

But come on - this just wasn't the case at all here

Technically sending demand first is supposed to be siegers obligation.
If they send no comm, it usually means for base owners, there will be no communications answered anyway.

No, I was speaking of my pob in dublin, not the one in kappa. I logged my pob owning char as soon as I had the chance after they started and began to rp with them and they said its too late now. The health bar was still well above 95% I think. They may have already been sieging it for maybe an hour before I could log. I didnt stay glued to the screen all day because I was celebrating pentecost with my family.

That's the thing. People who want to find a reason to blow something up will always find a reason. Whether its "too late" or "not on the forum" or "my dad was killed by X faction scum".

Corsair Council have agreements with AI and Zoners, not even 2 week this IE groups came nowhere attacked Zoners,AI and other faction. Would you think that people you have agreement with attack you, while being away?.

Also siegers didnt demand anything. defenders asked for what demands would be.

Demands are not necessary to siege POB within ZOI.
