with the lost o gran canaria, omega 49 is only important because it is a part of one important passsage, but, like i said, there are more important systems. yes make it valued for rp and pew pew, but don't forget other systems, mainly for the corsairs, that have so many contested system, omega 47, omega 55, omicron xi, sigma 19 for example. also would be good to see the corsairs trying to take, at least trying, nauru back, another good option for a major pew pew event on the omicrons.
well anyway, i think the "reason" was the core helped the bretonians with logisyic and even manpower, and was some kind of gift, and also a base for the core to have a presence on omega 49 to continue to assist bretonia, but since bretonia left there is no other resons to continue there, because there are more important, in my view, systems whose presence needs to be strengthened, like omega 55, inrp there is a good planet with value resources that the core has to defend from corsairs and coallition!

Battleship Mars was moved from the deleted Omega to Rho where it's idling.
It can actually keep moving as needed through Omegas with patches, making Core active there
yes i kno, but i don't see omega 49 important for the core, would be good someone from the core to give their point of view here as also other factions, since their main focus is the omicrons, and planet skagen on omega 55

Core can't anymore enforce their laws in Omegas. Until this is not changed, I prefer to no action in Omegas.
Because this is an big issue. We have bases in Omegas, but all we can is "Shoot hostiles".
For now, Core| are not interested in activity, In Omega regions.
Yeah agreed - I bought a mako in O-49 today
And core without laws is an incredibly dull affair.
In fact I have probably been the second most active Core player after Domino over the past year, and I never even learned who enemies in rep sheet or rephack list are, or used engagement lines for that matter other than laws once. Core law fines are laughably low and fixed, RP consequences practically minimal as Core doesn't have vital bases, nobody else has law line in Omegas and this is just a big error in my book. But they are incredibly fun to enforce.
However this is thread is for Story/Systems development suggestion.
Afaik there will still be a split between them and admins who decide on IDs lines - I 100% agree with you but it probably needs to be addressed separately because the primary people that this thread influences/aims to help don't make final decision on changing the ID?
