Illegal Lane Racing

I'd say freelancer ID is best, but none of the other IDs say you can't race.


Of all the possible Tags I think I like SRS the best, thus far but a poll should be put up maybe. When I get time I'll put up an information post in the RPing area and we can start registrations.

The idea needs polishing but I think the only real way to figure it out is by trial and error.

the minefield maze in connecticut is good for racing... adds a lot of danger to the mix. You go through on cruise speed and while racing you can try to bump your opponents into the mines... even seeing where you're supposed to go is tough with all the mines clouding your vision.

Ok so I think Teams is a good way to go.

And I like SRS so I might join that one myself

Does everyone think a team format would work best? That way there would be indy races AND team races (pass the flag?) Teams could also help each other out in indy races.

No cruise disruptors, really. I'm all for dirty tricks, but that's just cheap. Launch a Train CD at the leader, and everyone in front of you is knocked out of cruise.

But really, this looks like fun. Can't wait to try my luck in a Starblazer.

hmm, good point, maybe no CD is best, for now the highest you can use is the Mosquito, I can remove it if people want.

I say for teams of five (ideally, or you can split it two-way or whatever)
1st: 500,000 (100K for each member)
2nd: 250,000 (50K for each member)
3rd: 125,000 (25K for each member)

4th and below: fight to the death for a 50K reward.:P

In theory this is for fun, not hard-core cash earning. If it is, and you're uber-rich, then spring for more, but I was just throwing this out there for realistic values.

What a good idea. So is there a team limit? I think 5 is ideal, personally, though that may be too many.

Alright I'm editing things as I go, team limit as it stand is 3, to help reduce confusion.

As for prize, I figure it can go race by race, depending on the organizer but generally will will be everyone pays a fee to get in (50-100k..) and all that gets put into the prize pot, winner takes all.
