for the record my faction of BH's aids lawfuls in looking for contraban as it puts more bounties on the list AKA more jobs for my group, but most of the time if i scan a ship and its only hauling a small cargo of cont i just keep on going. i see no reason to make a big fuss out of 20 units of cont compared to a guy hauling 4000+ units of it.

We once stopped an adv. train full of Synth pot in Omega3, I think it was 2 CR GBs and one viper, during a CR event about half a year ago. We stopped him and bought some 60 units of pot(for personal use only), then let him go. More fun, than blowing him up I can say... :laugh:(Hey, no! Stop! We only want to buy the stuff! Stop please!!)

As a Junker I have tried to RP the bribing of a cop when caught snuggling. They don't play along. They want the 4 mil bc its more money not the smaller RP amount I was going to give them.

Ah well I guess the lesson is don't get caught or bring friends.

the npc's sometime turn a blind eye to pilots in the hold: if your in kusari, xenos attract no comment, like blood dragons are ok in rheinland.

However, the lsf/lpi/ln/rm/bhg/etc take one look at any pilot and say 'drop it'. shouldnt they restrict themsleves to an rp standpoint of 'you have a xeno in your hold, but im kusarian, so i don't care'?

As a Junker I have tried to RP the bribing of a cop when caught snuggling. They don't play along. They want the 4 mil bc its more money not the smaller RP amount I was going to give them.

Mostly because the 4Mill don't go to a police/state account, it is direct character income...
I might be wrong of course.

Rule violation much? Be good and blow him up in your trader. That way you crush their confidence.

i just wonder ... how are we supposed to respond in such situations?.. i stay in character and pay for whatever the guy wants. (or if its to high i try and run away.)

you don't have time to ask for help or higher authority. + No one cares.

my character is always ranting about the police being corrupt for this reason they dont RP anything all they want is money and death. IF I ever met a house police, house military, BHG, or merc that RP'd with me once I might give them all my credits just for a little time of actual RP on a RP server.
