Declaration of war

Greetings. We are The Order, an organization that has been secretly protecting humanity from the alien threat of the Nomads and their minions for the past 35 years. If I'm not mistaken, the reasons for the SCP-5000 appeared on the SCP website a little later, as anchored links in the text that could be used to see where it all started.
