This will be an excellent excuse to get my wife involved in a more PvP-oriented event. She LOOOVES celtic stuff; I've been feeding her some Molly lore over the past couple of weeks, since her chef character's father (background story wise) still has loose ties to the Mollys. A blatant invasion of the Crown trying to take back what isn't theirs (from certain characters' perspectives) is a fantastic chance (heh!) for me to get the Mrs. more comfortable with (or at least tolerant of) PvP.
Even better is the fact that my better half's main character, Kayla Trevarthian (Bretonian chef and co-owner of the Gaelic Wyvern Inn) has a pretty large family. This means, we could play as a pair of Kayla's siblings who decide "Roight - Tha' tears it, dey've gone TOO FER 'dis toime!" and head straight to Dublin to help defend it. ...Riiiight after they skirt around their parents and beg their older sister Kayla for help with getting ships, lol.
Finally, this is an opportunity for more *Rubs hands together* Story ideeeaaas~!! and how to tie those ideas back to our main characters.
Awh yissss~

Is this by mistake or by design?
Looking at the code selection, I imagine it was simply done by the crafting lists. 6 kills for a set of tier 1 codes, 8 kills for a single tier 2 code. WILD FIRE (as well as the BEOWULF and the SURIEL) are tier 2 codes that are crafted one at a time using Earhart materials, despite being otherwise available as a wreck drop.
Exactly right
I feel like adjusting value based on wrecks is a bit beyond me, and I'm sure there are other minor inconsistencies. But this way people can pick based on what they want or the best V A L U E

aight, no worries. Was simply wondering. I'm not that knowledgeable on Crafted Codes so much as what I make (rarely) for myself.
Would like to know when people would like to do a "Hegemon Only" brawl during the event as a side bonus. Please, either message here or in Discord ("Hope", NOT "Hopewell"). Forum PMs are the hardest to reach me by lol.
I thought there was some mentioning of BHG heavily investing in huntin around Dublin, they got NPCs on main BAF BS (npc one), though don`t mind just playing lafwuls, just would add flavour to grab additional money before each encounter.

This is exactly the type of thing players can develop with a faction. But without one, all of this is happening in the background, and doesn't really need to be given the spotlight for an event which is already complex. I would also add that individual characters who are bounty hunters are welcome to get involved and write some rp to claim the new "established character" reward(s).

I mean heck I definitely would get involved, but I don't want to step on any toes, this is a big thing that is months in the making. The local factions should shine here after all
