Just wanted to post this here to make it clear that why I said the infinite respawns did not affect the last fight of the event. What they did do is allow some of the BAF side to regroup faster than normal, and in some cases switch their ship class.

As you can see, 15 Molly players died, and 1 BAF towards the end. If BAF had 30-minute respawns, this encounter would be the same, because none of the BAF side took advantage of them. But the perception of the engagement would have been different, which I cannot control, but hopefully can clarify. Essentially, the fight was a snowball, which can happen in any mixed fleet engagement. Don't feel bad if you are on the receiving end, it's not anything to do with your skills.

I appreciate the 'shitty pvp judgement' because it has actually given some form of relief from being ganked by twice the numbers.

18 vs 25 is not really twice the numbers especially if you have infinite respawns (it's more of a skill issue) and 15 dead Mollys to 1 BAF definitely don't feel relief.

can I ask which part was shitty judgement? The molly side of was a hell of a lot heavier and wiped the BAF side off the face of the earth in the first fight. They only got cleaned up on respawn after half of us switched to gunboats. If there weren't infinite respawns it would have just ended then and there within the first 15 minutes.

The infinite respawns weren't a thing in the first fight, except towards the end when it was a curbstomp going all the way from the objective to being pushed back to spawn. The reason I'm saying twice the numbers is because when I checked, it was twice the numbers:

[10.05.2025 20:27:02] Your group size: 11 (10 in space)

The second fight didn't matter whether the respawns were there or not, as Barrier said.

Telling one side to move while another continues engaging, giving infinite respawns instead of literally pming people to switch, but hey I guess us pvpers leaving after we noticed that the fight is being micro managed instead of letting it evolve organically gave Barrier the BAF win that he wanted ( which he could've just gotten either way if he pmed us but you know). As I said if you're going to micro manage a fight to sway the snowball to the other side, simply state it so we don't waste time logging in. I'd rather play minecraft than engage in predetermined pvp fights and I already know I'm not the only one feeling that way.

Hi yes, I assume you meant me, Iron Constitution.

I did not know fleeing was against the event rules as I saw half a dozen snubs also do it because Somerset had no regens to restock with. Additionally, this was when infinite respawns was active, so I felt it made no functional difference at the time.
