Classification: The Expendables personnel only.
I. Executive Summary
Operational stop at Baltimore Shipyard for repairs. The objective was simple:
acquire high-quality repairs for Omega-S1 vessel and gauge local traffic.
The situation evolved into a multi-faction interaction involving Liberty Navy, Lane Hackers, and independent contractors.
While the primary objective was successful, the engagement provided critical, albeit chaotic, intelligence on potential assets in the region.
II. Strategic Contacts & Intelligence
1. The Gaelic Wyvern Inn (Asset: Chef - Morale)
Assessment: Highly valuable.
Action: Established rapport. They are neutral, discreet, and capable of moral boosting food preparation - essential when the Valkyrie’s crew returns home.
I paid them generously to ensure future priority service.
2. Lane Hackers / "Chloe" (Asset: Research & Development)
Identity: );--Misconfig named "Chloe"
Assessment: Chaotic neutral. High technical proficiency, low impulse control.
Opportunity: Subject confirmed existence of a specialized "research division." I initiated a soft inquiry regarding "commodities" needed for
all kinds of research.
Status: Potential trade partner. They need materials - we need hardware that doesn't exist on official manifests.
Note: Subject is easily bribed with sweets like Gingerbread or Eggnog.
3. Unidentified Cloaked Vessel - "The Specter"
Identity: [R]-Double.Down
Assessment: Arrogant but skilled. Could be an asset.
Interaction: Hostile-adjacent banter. Subject attempted to provoke Navy assets.
Resolution: Transferred 25,000 credits to purchase "silence" for my 'medication abuse'.
A small price to keep a wild card from drawing unwanted attention to our transponders.
4. Zoner Explorer
Identity: Zoners|Ultimatum
Intel: Questioned regarding signal intercepts from the Valkyrie.
Result: Negative contact. The silence from the deep space remains unbroken.
III. Incident Report: Medical/Psychological
Subject: Cpt. Lia "The Sparrow" Brenner
Incident Type: PTSD and Hallucination - Auditory and Visual
During the interaction, I experienced a momentary break in situational awareness.
Trigger unknown - possibly the stress of a specific frequency in the shipyard traffic.
I hallucinated the presence of deceased crewman Heinrich and verbalized a combat warning on the open channel.
Mitigation:
Cover story established immediately: "Adverse reaction to medication."
The cover was accepted by local traffic, though it drew concern from Ozei.
Action: I must increase dosage regulation before public dockings. We cannot afford for "The Sparrow" to look like a broken wing.
IV. Unit Status
[EX]-Raven: Rendezvous successful. Officer morale improved by supply of "Dragon Fang" and "Sweet Mead." His piloting remains... enthusiastic.
[EX]-Crux: Location unknown. Last seen Ithaca. Priority is to re-establish contact.
The Flock: Still dark. Hydroponics and general status unkown. We must secure better communications with the Valkyrie.
V. Next Steps
1. Proceed to system Vespucci for intel gathering as discussed with Raven.
2. Follow up with Lane Hacker "Chloe" regarding the an exchange.
3. Locate Crux.
They erased our names, but they cannot erase our hunger. We carry on.

Subject: Multi-Mode Focusing Chambers from Resolution Heavy Works
Moin Moin Jungs,
Just a short update, my dears. Some of you may have heard whispers about the Rock contract regarding Multi-Mode Focusing Chambers.
When running some supplies to New London, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Alistar Thorne, the owner of Resolution Heavy Works. He has graciously granted us permission to run logistics for him to "The Rock" in the Cologne System.
[RHW]HSV>Log.01: Thorne: So far so good - lot of work. We got some issues with logistics tho.
[EX]-Platinfuchs: ?: Issues with logistics you say ?
[RHW]HSV>Log.01: Thorne: Correct. All our workers are bussy setting up the station - while we got a huge contract that is waiting for delivery.
[EX]-Platinfuchs: ?: If thats so... May I be blunt and introduce myself? Sparrow from the Expendables. We take care of all sorts of shipping, ~
[EX]-Platinfuchs: S: just what you seem to need !
[RHW]HSV>Log.01: Thorne: Thats... an unexpected offer Mr. Sparrow - and very welcomed.
[EX]-Platinfuchs: S: Lets keep the Mr. for now... ain't this right, how about we get going and you tell me the details along the way ?
[RHW]HSV>Log.01: Throne: I am Alistair Thorne - CEO of our newest base - Resolution Heavy Works.
[RHW]HSV>Log.01: Thorne: Sure, this way.
[EX]-Platinfuchs: S: Pleasure to meet you Mr. Thorne.
[RHW]HSV>Log.01: Thorne: Resolution Heavy Works is located next to the asteroid field - you cannot miss it.
[RHW]HSV>Log.01: Thorne: We are producing all sort of heavy industrie for Bretonia and its costumers.
[RHW]HSV>Log.01: Thorne: Right now we have a huge contract from a Base called "Rock" - you heard of it?
[EX]-Platinfuchs: S: A base named "Rock" - is it in the Cologne system by any chance?
[RHW]HSV>Log.01: Thorne: Correct. We have a large contract of 1.000 units of Multi-Mode Focusing Chambers that need to be delivered.
[EX]-Platinfuchs: S: Ah yes this one Mr. Magomedov sent around!
[EX]-Platinfuchs: S: We were looking for a supplier for it already!
[RHW]HSV>Log.01: Throne: Well if you would like to - the logistic contract is yours.
[RHW]HSV>Log.01: Thorne: You would need to send a proove of delivery to the base administration - so we can forward it to Mr. Magomedov.
[EX]-Platinfuchs: S: Very well, let me brief my crew and we will get going!
[RHW]HSV>Log.01: Thorne: Very well. We will be waiting for your response.
I want to report a short encounter that occurred 07.02.836 A.S. in the Cambridge System, positioned in front of the New London Jumpgate.
I was approached by two Bretonian Police officers who requested that I cut engines for inspection. The officers questioned me briefly regarding the Expandables, our operations, and whether I had knowledge of a pilot using the callsign “Grenzjaeger.” I confirmed only that he is (or was) an affiliated pilot but that I had not seen him for some time.
They proceeded to inspect my cargo, which consisted of Hull Panels destined for Resolution Heavy Works (BMM facility) in the New London system. Cargo was verified without issue.
During the scan, however, the officers flagged several gunboat turrets mounted on my vessel as illegal in Bretonian space, apparently due to their origin. I informed them the ship had been acquired through a Freeport transaction and that I was unaware of the restriction. The officers issued a 15,000 credit fine, which I paid on the spot, and advised that the turrets be replaced at Portsmouth Shipyard armourers before further long term operations in Bretonia.
No cargo was confiscated, no further action was taken, and I was cleared to continue delivery before proceeding to Portsmouth for refit.
Recommendation to EX pilots operating in Bretonian territory:
Double check mounted weapon legality, particularly if ships were acquired second hand or through Freeports.
Expect occasional questioning regarding EX activities; maintain the standard line that we are urgent commodity logistics contractors.
Keep manifests readily accessible to avoid delays.
