So you want to get your hands on LSF pawns to try your luck interrogating? I'd like to know how exactly would that work because in my experience people won't talk unless you're offering them something in return, and LSF bootlickers are even harder to convince. Forget about torture, that'll get you worse than nowhere as tortured people have tendency to straight up lie and tell you what you wanna hear to make you stop, or you might fuel their resolve to refuse talking until they're too much of a pulp to even feel any pain.
I'd say that instead of putting our people in the line to capture pawns alive, wasting supplies and space with them, my approach to your proposal is that we could start focusing on higher-ups, do some background check on them, find out where their families are, do some kidnap job and then try our luck with an exchange deal, we could even get some of our guys back in our side that way. Nothing gets these guys to play along like seeing their wives and offspring tied to a tree and dangerously close to the local predatory fauna Erie has to offer...
But that sounds like a lot of work, right? Because it is, specially for the numbers we have right now, this line of work is more suited for Xenos or Hackers... or -some- Rogues, since they have far more numbers, and the Xenos would've done this themselves already if they knew where to start, sadly I haven't heard any rumors about Xenos pulling that stunt successfully, though.
I do agree and I'm fully aware that LSF spies are a pain and have been a pain for too long for our operatives both in space and land, but putting ourselves on the line to get a bunch of nobodies to try our luck with interrogation is the wrong approach. I think our best bet to reduce damage is to convince the local Xenos and Hackers to offer their experience and knowledge in dismantling their intel networks, the higher-ups in our side being taken down shows that too much organization is a compromise, keeping things loose and cells small makes infiltration much harder and Chaos is our best friend, maybe the guys that try to establish a military-like and centralized hierarchy among our cells should go into some suspect list, food for thought.
I'll await your response, as we talk we're getting some transports ready to start moving shipments around the area. Always busy.

Bowman here. Good to get a sign of life from you, Jackal.
Now, onto considering your appraisal of the situation. I'll put up what insight I've got from myself and our agents, but my requests made in the open channel will remain the same.
To your point on torture, which I'm in agreement with, while I've got some mad dogs around here that'd love nothing more than a date with Liberty's finest behind closed doors, that's not the intention. I want results, not retribution. We need real intelligence of how the LSF is structured and operating on Erie if we want to poke their eyes out. Even the "pawns" should have a piece of that picture. With enough time and smart questioning, and maybe tapping our allies for expertise, they might well reveal what we need to make sense of where the enemy's blind spots are, and exploit them.
I'm well aware it's a tall order. Most of my volunteer troops can't interrogate a sponge, let alone some of the sector's most ruthless. We've got our own specialists, though, even if they may be of civilian background. You let us worry about prisoner management. Just keep us in mind if you reel in their escape pods, so that we have the opportunity. I'm sure you'll be lighting them up just the same if you come across any.
And that's far simpler than trying to kidnap high profile targets from deep Liberty territory, for a prisoner exchange that won't solve the root of our problem. If you think you can make it work, I'm not able to stop you from trying, but my goal is to diminish the Force's capability, or else we'll be freeing our boys so the LSF can round them up again. The Lane Hackers could be invaluable in this regard, if they're as hot-shot as their stunts make them out to be. Similar story with the Xenos. But they're crooks, remember. They won't work for free, and my cells are scraping the barrel as it is. I can only change that when making bigger moves won't tip our hand to the agency.
We should continue developing our own capabilities over giving more Libertonians the chance to rug pull us again, but at this rate, I'd just be grateful to get the ball rolling. Do you have the means to make deals with the Lane Hackers? If you can, any information on the structure of LSF operations dirtside could give me an angle to work.
Alright, given it doesn't mean too much change in our M-O I'll entertain your approach, we'll run some quick scans whenever the smoke settles when we cross paths with their puppets to see if there's still some in one piece, tractor pods and then drop them somewhere in Pinnacle or Milford for your crew to retrieve.
I'll get in touch again if we get a good batch to deliver.
As for the Hackers no, I don't have close contact with them, I've worked with Xenos far more than Hackers in the past, because most Hackers are more interested in hedonism than political warfare and terrorism.

It's me. Message loud and clear.
There aren't many I've met in the cause who've dealt with them, so, to be expected. However, if their motives are that short-sighted, all that is necessary to get them involved may be payment up front. We're keeping a low-profile for now after an operation of ours stirred up LPI in our vicinity, but once the heat has bled off - and we get a hold of something we can pay with - I'll task someone to seek them out and make contact.
If you take any captives, prefer you route them through Pinnacle. That way, my supply pilot can retrieve them on their normal routine without any change in schedule. I would prefer them intact, as well... but if your lot throw in a fist in the ribs or three, I won't protest. I don't expect you to pamper their ilk in transit.
I'll keep you updated as to our operations. If we pull workable information that requires firepower, you'll know first.
