I think this is the same than Freeports no fighting status, is a rule than exist by a reason... even when there are not enough zoners to defend all freeports...

I think Bretonia Armed Forces, and other houses armed forces must be capable to prevent camping, at least on main planets. Even when bretonia have quite less members than Liberty by example.

Yes, and it's not unlike a killed pirate being able to jump over to the next system and continue his dirty work. Even though good RP for him would be to log off for awhile.

It comes down to the player themselves in most cases, and if they will favor RP over PvP and their own amusement, but - as said - it's a volatile subject that will be argued by both sides until the topic has been reduced to cinders.

It sucks. Oh well.

Sorry, but I have to agree that this is very trial-by-forumish (yeah I stole your word, sue me). If the player is hostile to the Bretonian lawfuls and can stay alive, then I don't see what you're mad about. Now if he had actually broken a rule, it would be different. However, that isn't the case.

Ahem. I am leader of Molly faction. And I will make only one statement here.

Cambridge IS inside our ZoI, but with secondary influence one. While we are mostly prevalent to Dublin, Leeds, NL and Newcastle, we do appear in Chester, Cambridge, Invertness, Dundee and Edinbourgh...

As for reasoning, let me explain. We are interested in your goods because our supply is low, or we are simply distrupting safe trade in Bretonian space, trying to show off.

Moreso, we do not camp planets or stations but rather lanes. Reason is simple, because if there is too much NPC ships, they are distracting you from pirating, and if they are capital ships patrols, they can even blast you, so it is not advisable.

Do not put something on trial by fourm if it is not even close to be worth it(actually, do not trial at all, its bad manner).

If you have any complaints, ask faction leader over PM, or post in feedback. Now off with you.

Wow... I like how everybody jumps the guy with 15 posts, no avatar, and no sig - instantly assuming he's a noob and puffs their 2 month old chests out everywhere. Well, I tried making it general, but in retrospect its mostly one person... Whom we shant mention openly further. Oi vay... Sorry if thats mean, its just the "OMGSTFU!" responses were a little unwarranted.

In any case, I sympathise with him. Realistically, if they were chilling outside a planet, the entire freakin' planet defense would scramble and smash them (assuming they posed such a serious threat). And, unless I'm mistaken, RP is putting oneself in the place of your character. Thus, realising the danger of chilling outside of said planet and the threat of being mauled by hundreds of fighters.

But I suppose its all in the interpretation of RP; whether or not you think realistically or that players are gods among men who weigh the balance of Sirius in their left hand while eating apple pie in their right.

I try my hardest to think realistically for the sake of everyone.

Fact is, I felt the same way. It really seemed (and seems) ooRP for me for a few pirates to log on late while not many lawful players are online, and "take over" a capital planet like Manhattan. I don't like it, neither does this guy, but it's not against the rules.

It's been discussed til both sides are blue in the face, and it all comes down to the situation. Again, either way, it's not against the rules. So all I said is that - while I don't like it either - there's nothing that can be done, and all this would turn into was another flamewar.

So excuse me for "puffing my 2 month old chest out" by trying to derail a flamefest. I feel for the guy, but it's just not worth the heat.
