yea.. CNC RA 1's music is still out there in a league of its own.. Hell March is a great piece. I have all the music soundtracks extraced it makes great mash party music.
... hmm if CNC RA3 has EA DRM then im not interested............
I'm with fletcher, my first paycheck will go right towards the game...
however...
I'll have to get my first job....
and no, i'm not some spoiled rich kid... I "work" for my parents, I'm working off this computer, and a couple of other things... I paid for my own PS2 (though now i wish i got the 360...) though... if i wasn't an otaku... I'd have $5000 on me... damn manga... why are they so good?

I just thought it was too much of a joke compared to the first one.
I'll probably get RA3, but not anywhere close to release.
I concur here. RA3 was just too silly compared to its predecessors, and, though, C&C3 was slightly better, it was nowhere near as good as Tuberian Sun or Red Alert 1, and because of that, I think I'll wait a good while until the price falls to $30.

God, yes. I miss soundtracks like those. Old school Command and Conquer in general is just successful when it comes to awesome techno, I guess.

They screw everything up so bad, they need teenagers in their room with their piss poor home computer to use their imagination to correct the things EA stuffed up.
Just look at BF2.
Now look at all the FREE expansion packs/mods you can get for FREE! Compared to Special Forces or Euro Forces where they have jack-crap inside.
If anyone thinks BF2 sucks, download Project Reality and the AIX mod. Best mods you will ever play.

I think you're forgetting Point of Existence 2, also. That's up there with AIX and Project Reality, I think.

People are still giving EA a lot of ****.
Granted, they do deserve it... But they're really coming back to give their company a good name again.
They cleaned up this year on all sports games, hockey, football, golf, fifa, you name it. Dead Space was amazing. Spore was amazing. Warhammer Online is great. Both Crysis games kicked ass. To be honest, C&C 3 and Rise of Kane were a BLAST.
If you look at it, the only thing turning people off to EA's games is the DRM. But you can't fault them for trying to prevent piracy. Maybe if people didn't pirate games so much there wouldn't be the DRM in the first place. And people that use the excuse "I normally wouldn't pirate it, but the DRM forces me to do that.", I have no respect for you, whatsoever. Piracy is piracy. If you don't like the DRM, don't buy the game. If it's not being pirated, and not being purchased, maybe EA will be, "Hey. Piracy is down, but our games aren't selling... What gives? Let's remove the DRM."
I can only see the next form of DRM being even worse then SecuROM.
Anyyyyyways... Did anyone here make it into the RA3 Beta? I got a code for it when I bought Kane's Wrath, but never got in, unfortunately. And I agree with the Hell March conversation. The Hell March is one of the most memorable songs in gaming history, in my opinion. And I honestly can't wait to fire up RA3 and hear that song play. C&C3 held my attention because the storyline was so awesome. I liked how no matter which side you played, the storyline matched up. I'm hoping RA3 does that as well. Although, I don't have much hope for the storyline, to be honest... The second was so goofy, whereas the first was super srs.
