So how did I bring about these changes exactly?

The same way you elect someone by not voting.

Nice, damned if I do, damned if I don't?

Take your useless comments elsewhere, Akuma. Wouldn't want another lovely thread locked, now would we?

They are not useless, but if you think this new ID scheme is wrong and you do nothing to convince others, perhaps your comments are.

I don't think this new ID scheme is wrong. I've tried to help those that saw problems coming for their indy traders. Most have understood and figured out how they are going to adapt.

Comments saying that I'm wrong for not petitioning against a change I saw no problems with, and you did, are useless, and have nothing to do with a thread built to help people adapt to the change.

If you think these changes are good, then I don't understand how you say the powertraders are bad for making them be thought up in the first place...

The powertraders will adapt, quicker than anyone else. They'll be the first with FL companion open to figure out the most profitable runs and the best ships and ID's to use doing them.

It's the other players who will be inconvenienced more.

Hm, I said powertraders were bad? I simply said that powertraders are the reason this has been thought up in the first place. Never said anything about them being bad, just explained why what's happening is.

But I don't have an opinion on this, in either case. I might, but I don't feel like talking to you about it.

EDIT: I also never said these changes were good. I'm saving my stance on that until I actually see them in effect. No use in counting your eggs before they hatch, eh?

You said:

' Wrote:Powertraders ruin it for the real RPers

So, you think ruining it for the real RPers isn't bad? Although you still haven't said how these powertraders ruin it, other than making people think of ID changes that you like.

Nope. My wording is blunt. Always is.

The powertraders have made the admins make this change. That's undeniable. As a result (as you agree) the ones who aren't powertrading suffer:

Quote:It's the other players who will be inconvenienced more.
So you see, I simply explained it bluntly. If it sounds like I think powertraders are some evil thing, it's just your imagination. I don't really care.

So how do powertraders ruin it for the real RPers?

By making the admins ever come to this ruling.
