I got the ZGuard ID with under an hour of work. The same cannot be said of my Unioner, GC, OC, GMG, BAF, Xenos, or LPI Guard IDs.

You've said that before Dab. I think the one time you did it was a fluke if that's even true. After you said it last time I followed the exact way you said you did it and it still took me about 4 hours because even after the quad bribe on Bethlehem I had to do missions for GMG to balance it out and get the ID.

I can't get any guard ID in less than one hour or probably 2 hours for that matter. I am however willing to challenge you in a race of guard IDs. We'll both start new characters and I'll go for an LN Guard ID and you a Zoner Guard ID. I know personally myself I cannot get the LN Guard ID in an hour so it should be easy for you to win according to what you're saying. I'm willing to put $100,000,000 down (and my dignity) on that I can get my LN Guard ID first.

Is the challenge accepted?

Edit: And we're allowed to transfer money to the new character as well.

From what you said, I can tell you -didn't- use my method. My method will get you that ZGuard tag/ID in under an hour, without fail.

First off, the Quad bribe isn't necessary. Useful, but not necessary. Also, you never ever shoot GMG NPCs in my method.

Get a triple or quad bribe at Bethlehem. Buy a ship that can mount a few guns on it (I used a Hawk). Fly to Omega-3. Use /droprep to lower Zoner rep. Shoot Zoner depots until Zoner rep is -0.2. Go to Gran Canaria, triple bribe. Use /droprep again, and go back to FP1 and shoot depots till you are -0.2. Then you can either do this one more time (for good measure), or head to Omicron-74. You should have either Zoner tag or Zoner Guard tag at this point. Either way, the Zoner Guard rep and Zoner rep will be full. Fly to Corinth, get the Guard ID, and you're done.

My method would work if you actually found out what the method was before attempting it..

Wow that's quite the method. You didn't mention most of that stuff before. That said, I made the challenge and it would be dishonorable to back out now.

Bluntage just give him the credits now, there is no way to fast track a House Military Guard ID/IFF due to the lack of bribes. Zoner and most pirate faction Guard ID/IFF's can be had in half an hour for myself and others who know how.

Well it was my mistake for not mentioning it but I wasn't talking about people "in the know", I was talking about the average player. I made the challenge and I will go through with it.

I think with some good mission selections I still can beat him.

11:30 PM EST is about 6 hours before I have to wake up for school.. That won't work.

And I'd say bets for fake money in a fantasy space game are a little more important than your real life future.

No I still think getting it (even with his workaround) in less than an hour requires luck. We'll have to schedule for a weekend sometime. I think it will be fun to do as well.
