First time I was here, i was really Gung-ho about reporting rulebreakers, nowadays, I just inform people that "hey man, what you're doing can get you in big trouble" but I don't really report someone unless it gets REALLY bad.

Was too up tight the first go around, and i wanna be more relaxed this time.

I only reported 2 people since i am on the Server and those two deserve it, cause they cheated:D
All other Rule Breakers in my history here get a nice hint what they did wrong and that is all for me, i dont want to ruin the fun by Rule Lawering every bagatelle.

I never reported anyone. Hope I never have to. When I see someone who I perceive
is breaking the rules I talk to him nicely, and if he doesn't listen I just let him go.

If your mindless attempts to insult us fall well below the expected standard of English language usage on this forum, you will find yourself wearing your next takeaway, instead of eating it sir.

I tend to report it if they insult me in someway directly e.g
Continually telling sexist jokes after I've told him to stop many times
Or the ever present one or no worded engagements

Unlike me, I'm pro at making it look like I actually have an opinion on the topic.
Except in this post.
I'm feeling rebellious.

Only if it is severe.
I used to send the fellow player a message about what is wrong.
Some ignore me, some listen.

Depends. Usually I scan, see the violation, talk to them in PM, they thank me for the heads up and we are cool.

If someone does not heed the warning then I might just warn them that they will get into trouble sooner or later and leave it at that. If they guy acts arrogant lolster then I might report him if I'm in the mood of taking the time to do so. Most of the cases I've seen have ended up in the sanctions threads inside a 3-4 days max even without me reporting them.

Flying under radar.

I got tons of screenshots fit for reports, but never really post them cause it's minor. I did post reports two or three times, but someone really has to ruin the game for me and/or the players around me to have me do it..

I'm really glad to see that most of the folks here take the time to try and explain the rules before filing a report. We try to deal with as much as we can in-game when we're on and we do prevent a lot of sanctions with a few words. When I'm playing, as I so rarely do, I must admit I tend to blinker myself to minor infractions, but if someone breaks the rules and ruins the game for me or anyone I'm flying with then I got no choice.

Oh and one final thing if I'm flying a non [Admin] ship please do NOT PM me with rules queries I'm trying to play the game.

Oh and if we ever catch wind of folks reporting just to be malicious rather than to actually improve the server, the malicious poster can expect to share the same fate as the sanctioned.

I don't report people often. In fact, I think the only times I have reported people is for swearing multiple times after being warned not to.
