separate entities, and it is a tad presumptuous to come in here, waltz about say exactly how your going to fix all of the Orders problems, and then try and dress it up with a nice oligarchical council that votes after the issue is decided.

but seriously, what Bluntage does is his own thing, not the Bs|

now i am never one for the slippery slope argument, but this does set precedent for other factions to just shanghai the rp and playing enjoyment of all the indys that fly some factions stripes.
hopefully an admin can clear this.

Also, if it is ooRP for the Order to be in New York due to lack of NPCs, it should also be ooRP for the LSF to do anything but sit in the pub.

I think it should be that way anyways, tbh.

But, indeed. If the XA declared that no Xeno would enter NY proper due to our focusing on keeping to the borderworlds to maximize our efficacy against in and outbound trade and killed anyone who dared disagreed, well, yeah.

I'd like to bring a vote upon the council.

The vote is to limit all of Tenacity's posts to 8 lines or less. I have to read 99% fluff and 1% message every time and I'm sick of it.

There is an Osiris Class Battleship sitting just outside Planet Toledo. I noticed it was inciting other Order pilots to openly attack Liberty Pilots. After asking an Order pilot that just got finished attacking LSF pilots why he would openly defy the council he told me that members of the Order on board this Battleship told him that they would pay him to attack liberty ships. They would also put in a good word for him to all other Order pilots.

How could this be. Did they not hear about the new council. Something had to be done. I approached this BS blatently sitting right outside Planet Toledo inciting Order members to attack liberty pilots and tried to explain to him about the new decree from the order council that there was to be no war with liberty. He did not respond to this in any way. I tried many times to explain the new situation and yet he refused to respond.

That was it, it was time for me to stand up for this new council, I attacked the BS. To my surprise all the other Order flying around as well as the Planet Toledo docking ring then began shooting at me and refused to let me land on Toledo. This confused me, had they not heard about the new decrees that there was to be peace with Liberty. I tried my best sirs but ended up chased out of Omicron Minor, hopefully they will forget me soon or you can talk some sense into them for me.

Please show me the councils power and rid Omicron Minor of this BS blatently defying you. Until then I can not try to enforce your decrees any more.

I have read every post in this thread, and you can all rest assured about these things :
1. Not all of the Admins agreed, or were even informed about wolfpack's announcement that started all of this. The first I learned of it was when I saw it posted.
2. This is being discussed in the Admin forum, and I promise you all that there will be public Admin input about this entire issue. It will take several days or even a week, because of our real life commitments and the time of year. We also are in several time zones that are literally on opposite sides of the planet, so the back and forth volleys of conversations may take a day in between.

That said, I will give those of you who were up all night (in my time zone anyway) waiting with bated breath to see how this turns out a hint : I believe that freedom is superior to tyranny, and I will not easily agree to allowing any individual player or player faction group to impose their definitions or conceptions on anyone else who disagrees with them and back that up with gunfire. This has been tried here in various forms, and in my judgment they are almost all universal failures. We may be stuck with some of them, but that is no reason to bend over and grab our ankles when more try to muscle their way in.

To put it another way, those of you in The Order with disagreements had better start figuring out how to settle them with words, compromise, and conciliation. Consider that an order from THE Command Council around here.
