the only reason one faction might NOT be allowed a bomber is by SELF restriction - which wouldn t count then.

The Colonial Remnant's ID in 4.85 allows only IMG ships, and after asking people if we could use the Taiidan, everyone said it was not.

+ It does not suit us to use civi ships. If it did, I'd fly that eagle all the time.:P

Maybe an IMG bomber will be made one day, who knows..

Yes to damage increase, because a side effect of disco ships and discoing the vanilla ships is that it unintentionally nerfs missiles.

I'm for increasing the explosive damage!
Few reasons :

- Fighter fights were too long already, so nukes/missiles/torps were quite good in making them shorter. Now they are equally strong against all ships, so damage should go up so average fighting time stays pretty much the same.

- It's boring to shoot just guns, and that is what most people will do. Gun damage got upped, explosive vulnerability removed. So explosives should be upped as well.
Even with 80% increase nothing will change dramatically.

Oh, and I think that explosive weapons shouldn't be spammed. So yeah, I'm all in favor of reducing their refire rate.
Especially for nuke mines and torpedos. These two should be fired once every 5-10 seconds or so.

amen...that's one reason i don't fly fighters anymore. i don't have the 45+ mins to spend on a 1 vs 1 fighter battle. i also don't think my carpal tunnel syndrome will cooperate with those extended battles either
