Greetings,
Yesterday I had to do one of the hardest things I have ever had t do. Myself and a fellow Bowex transport put aside our rivalries and worked together to evacuate Refugees off Planet Leeds. We took them to Planet Pittsuburg (//I know its in liberty but this way we made a profit). Unfortunately the Lane Hacker Phate along with 4 of his cronies caught us in Manchester, he extorted and unbelievable amount of credits to lets us pass. In excess of 10 million credits. We pleaded to his heart to let us pass as it was a humanitarian mission but to no avail. I hope he meets a ill fate soon.
On another matter are we allowed to fly the Bretoian C transport or the Bretioian Train. I personally like the look of the transport.
Regards

Hello James, hope you are well,
I think both the Transport and the Train would make excellent new ships to add to the Gateway fleet. The Transport is equipted with 12 guns for that *safer* feeling if you so desire. The Train, however has only one.
I have just bought the Train and can report that it fly's like a tower block

Hello Calum,
I think I will go with the transport as I am still running refugees out of the war zone. Apprantly it flys like a huge brick as well. I will upload more info after I have put it through its paces.
Regards
Calvert

Life on Planet Leeds has been very hectic. I am sorry for not being so active in space lately - my family needed to be comforted and taken care of in these tough times. The old Gibraltar was sold off to Planetform, and I had decided to stop flying for a while.
Now, money's getting short, and the family is preparing to move to New London. They'll be safer there, but we certainly need credits to get out of Leeds. So, from now on, I'll be back working as a transport captain.
Today I overheard some bantering between Bretonian Armed Forces pilots and the Kusari Naval Forces. It frightens me to know that they are so close to the heart of Bretonia. I acquired a loan to purchase a second-hand Percheron, and managed to leave Leeds behind me. I'll miss her, especially if the KNF keep pushing further and take hold of the system.
The new Gibraltar is laden with Super Alloys, headed to Liberty.

Good day gentlemen,
First of all, welcome back Dee. Been a long time since I last saw ye. Sad to hear about yer reasons for coming back. The war's taking something, or someone from everyone...
Anyway, welcome back Dee, and welcome aboard Alexander Gonta and the crew of the Berwick. Had the pleasure o' having a chat with him today, seems a fine addition to Gateway.
Ran a few runs into Liberty, only hassle was a hacker near Curaco. Can't remember 'is name, RFD something? It'll come back to me.
Bad times ahead, but hopefully things will turn for the better sooner rather 'an later.

Greetings All!
First of all, please forgive my absence of late. I have been otherwise occupied for some time, and have recently been waylaid by illness. I am recovering however.
These are exciting times for our company, and I am pleased to tell you that I am devoting renewed attention to revitalizing our firm to meet the revent challenges to Bretonian welfare. Remember that what we do, we do ultimately not for ourselves, but for the people of Bretonia.
I will be working on revamping our corporate profile and organizational structure as necessary. Mr. Gunther Koch, our trade director, is heading up the effort to rewrite our trade routes given the major changes in the economy of late. Whatever information you can post about your trade activity would be most helpful there. Please do pay attention to our corporate diplomacy in your trade runs.
Speaking of diplomacy, I have undertaken discussions with the Independent Miners Guild regarding the possible placement of satelite offices on one or two of their stations, as well as the possible use of a couple of their shiplines. Also, we are going to be setting up a joint communications channel for our traders to avail themselves of IMG escorts. We look forward to furthering our relationship with the Guild as time and events allow.
I have instructed our Office of Employee Development to make a roll call of our staff: Gateway Roll Call. Please sign up as soon as possible so we can update our staff listing, and so we can include you in our instant communications system, SKYPE.
Also, a hearty welcome to Mr. Alexander Gonta, captain of the Berwick! I think you'll find our firm an excellent place to develop your career. If you should require anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask.
In addition to Mr. McIntyre and Mr. Dee, and others, I think we'll shortly find a couple more of our "old crew" returning to space. I'll keep you posted on that count.

Greetings All,
Yesterday, I ran niobium from Planet New London to Manhattan, for a profit of 548 credits/unit (my apologies for lack of a per-second calculation). I returned with luxury consumer goods from Manhattan to Planet New London at a profit of 854 credits/unit. Not a bad run in the new economy.
Earlier, I ran mining machinery from Planet New London to South Shields and hydrocarbons back. That is a fair profit, but substituting the Hood in Dublin for South Shields yields a slightly higher per-second profit. Again, apologies for lack of numbers; I wasn't keeping good notes at the time. Of course, we'll want to be careful with the Mollys in Dublin.
One other thing to keep in mind is what we pay and charge for escorts. Since the entire economy is different, and money-making is no longer quite as quick a process, escort fees should be reduced purportionally. We still, however, should maintain our reputation for being generous.
