John Smith sat in his cabin aboard the GlenCoe doing his paperwork. The new ship that Cpt Mcdonald had transfered his crew to was a lot larger than thier old Train and the accomadation was first class. As Fourth Engineer aboard the GlenCoe he was kept very busy making sure the new ship ran to Cpt McDonalds strict orders and he did his job well.
Going through the signals for the day he came across one from the new DSO, called Bernarl Eisenhower. " A new Security Division ehh..." thought John.

RE: Security Division
Sir,
If i may i would like to apply to join the new Gateway Security Division. I have already spoken to my captain, Mr. McDonald and he said if its alright by you then its fine with him. I have at my disposal a new Civilian Bomber which i have, at my own expense, kitted out and would be proud to serve the company in this exciting role.
Hopeing to hear of your approval,
John Smith.

RE: I'm here now
Hi Mr. B, and to the other Gateway pilots.
Well, I'm finally done with school and I have my ship ready to go. It's really nice and I painted the inside too. So I'll be able to fly security whenever you need me.
Hi Alec in the Perth. I hope you have not forgotten me. You still need to see my place on Gran Canaria.
What else. Oh yeah, last night I was in New Berlin and I met this guy named Adrian who was in SCRA. I don't know what SCRA is but he seemed nice enough. I invited him to visit us here in Kensington. I hope it was ok. He said something about getting hanged if he came to Bretonia. That was weird. But oh well. He had a friend named Quong or something like that.

RE: Security
Dear Ms. Eaton,
Good to know you are set up and ready to go. You'll be reporting to Mr. Eisenhower, our new DSO.
Incidentally, from what I understand, SCRA refers to the remnants of those Coalition lads who fought against our nations on Old Earth, prompting our evacuation to Sirius in the first place. I'd advise you to stay away from them in the future, given they seek our complete downfall and all.

RE: Trade Report
Greetings All,
Ran Mr. Dee's latest run this morning - a good one, that is. On the way back from Pittsburg, found several pirates awaiting me in California. Fortunately, our newest security pilot, Mr. John Smith was in California filling out his navmap. He joined me at West Point, and we went on from there.
Immediately in California, however, we were engaged by a Harvester. The toaster didn't manage to make it all the way through my shields, when Mr. Smith engaged it. I contacted a Liberty Navy vessel in New York, who came to his aid within minutes. Mr. Smith acquitted himself admirably, and we made the rest of the run without incident.
Welcome Mr. Smith, and well done! And to the trader captains, this is a good, interesting, and profitable route.

A simple Luxury Cargo run. This time, no pirates were encountered. I was lucky, as I had not arranged an escort for the run. The Gibraltar is practically defenseless against any pirate vessel.
Here's the cargo manifest.
