Ye i had the same problem with mtw2, funnily enough when i replaced the original exe with a co_cd from megagames my framerate went from 10 to 50 fps, no clue why , try a few different ones (after updating the game) because a friend of mine used a different no_cd which gave the same low framerate.

no idea what the hell your talking about...if you could do it in a more simple mannor? and is it legal? no doubt it is but still, i wanna be sure

Have you tried all the usual things like disk cleanup, defrag, blah blah blah?

If freeing up some hard drive space doesnt help (if it is close to full) then maybe you need to update your RAM, or graphics card possibly?

I have a laptop that runs RTW just fine at good specs, runs MTW2 at medium specs, but crashed whenever I tried to load the battle map.

Have you applied all the usual patches, etc that may cover issues with your particular type of graphics card?

i'll download the patches...didnt think of that :\ but i still have 86 gigs left and the disk is highly clean, battle maps work but its the WORST lag EVER!
