My dag-blame pants w's down an' they had m' bum hung o'r the fire don't you know. Poor Gimpy wus so scared h' pissed 'n th' floor of m' ship. It start' smellin' right quick too.
I hain't gettin' away 'til I pays em 4 million. That pretty m'ch bled m' dry. But I pays 'm anyway. An 'f course, no la' enforcement 's com'n to hep me one dadblame bit. Th'm police 'n Liberty 's good fer nuthin. Jus sitt'n 'n Manhattan an' jammerin' like a bunch o girls.

Good day gents,
Sorry 'bout submitting this late, been buried in interspace insurace forms.
Was a short day done the normal IMG route, no hassles in Rheinland apart from a Rheinland battleship captain. The captain of the Eclipse seemed ta have a grudge against Gateway, so much so he was on the verge o' attacking Jubal on the Skipsea. Luckily a well timed ion storm hit, and when systems had restarted, the battleship was no where in sight. Took a break on Kensington, as Fimmion started a run.
Got into a tangle in California, a pair o' rogues, "strangiato" or somethin'. Bartered for the pilots they'd captured, and passage. Total of 2 million, an' they would escort the Perth to near West Point.
Was hit by a xeno in the lanes between West Point an' Manhatten, who destroyed all the cargo I had. Fled to Manhatten, an' then another Ion storm hit. Then another. The rogues I made the deal with were sadly no where to be seen...
Stayed at Manhatten to fill out the forms, and stay safe while the pirates roamed New York free as they wished...

Greetings All,
Let me begin by thanking Mr. Alec McIntyre for his time of service as Assistant Director of Trade Operations (ADTO); we have greatly appreciated his work. Mr. McIntyre will continue to trade with Gateway, and will remain in his position on the Board of Directors.
(Incidentally, Mr. McIntyre, very sorry about your run-ins with those scoundrels of Liberty. Indeed, the lawmen seem to be more and more absent these days. I am considering a personal communique to their policy and navy.)
In his stead, Mr. Charles Dee has been promoted to ADTO. Mr. Dee has distinguished himself by his regular trade runs and his route formulation in this new economy. He has proved himself a worthy trade captain for some time now, and he will be a great asset in this new capacity. Congratulations, Mr. Dee!
Also, I have the pleasure of welcoming back Mr. Riei Arkanus of the Avalon. Please make him feel at home.

I'm a dodgin' and weavin', a ziggin' an zaggin' and th' Perchy is hold'n together. I makes 't t' th' jumphole and skip to Dublin. Com'n out a jump I's see the BS Hood 's close by 'n I runs fer it.
But ol Pato 's breath'n 'n m' again an' starts a shootin' but he's a missin' 'is shots. He mus' been a drinkin' cuz Gimpy an' me dock 'n the Hood an' ur safe.

Subject: Convoy Report.
What a good day gents,
Started with Fimmion, Aiden and meself running berl to Liberty, an' neon back. Was joined by Alex onboard the Berwick, and our escort pilot John Smith.
Was shadowed by ROS gunboat... Westphalia from Pennslyvania, and 'e tried his luck at Cambridge. The combined effort of Aiden's, John's and the Perth's weapons showed 'im off. Toasters also showed up, but seemed more interested in the outcasts than our convoy. (Which consisted of all the above ships by then).
Decided on moving berl from Cardiff to Altona in Hamburg, and set out with only minor problems.
Reached New Berlin and a LWB ambush was found in time by Aiden, the tradeships went above and managed to evade. They must have gotten wind of our destination, and they hit again between Alster shipyards and Altona in Hamburg. Although we had managed to get an escort of two Rheinland military fighters in New Berlin.
Aiden went down to a pair of mines, but we managed to tractor in his pod. Alex on the Berwick managed ta get out quick, and the Stonehenge's cruise engines were tough enough to withstand the distuptors fired at it. Seems the sheer amount of disruptors fired at my own ship's engines damaged them, and we were sitting ducks for 'em... Tried ta reason with the pirates, but they responded to word with supernova... In the end we had to hand over 4 million credits.
You'll have to get the report from John on how the fighting went, as I wasn't able ta keep track of it.
Both escorts were taken down, and Alex decided to play it safe and stay at Altona. Fimmion and I decided to keep going, back to Bretonia. Had a few close calls on the way, including a pirate called Job, but luck was with us.

Hi to all Gateway pilots! Just reporting in with the details of my new Gateway Funded ship and first route with her. After slapping on some turrets for self defense and Taping down a panel here and there and making some final Preparations, it was time to Fly the route, as luck would Have it, Teignmouth was flying the same route, so we Paired up, hauling Robotics to Toronto Station, Ontario, and Platinum back to Thames Outpost, New London. Teignmouth had a close brush with Planet Huron's Atmosphere, and my ship's Navigational Computer had two issues with docking at a Lane and a Jumpgate, but other than that, No problems what-so-ever.
It's already a blast being a part of Gateway and I've only flown one round trip leg, I hope there are many more to come.
