I just hope I can get my oracle character rep adjusted by the admins after a while so I can go check out iota and 99 without getting blasted =P

I would hope that, if the Oracles got accepted as an official faction, that all members (or all members who reached a certain rank, such as all Prophets and Hybrids) would be set with neutral or friendly nomad reputation. A fully human Oracle might still be seen as a hostile by the rank-and-file nomads, but it wouldn't make much sense once they became a nomad host.

By the way, I'd support an alien gate somewhere in Unknown leading to Iota or Omicron-99. If the Keepers plan on participating in any RP in Unknown, I think it's almost a necessity. Of course, it'd need the same limitation placed upon it as the other Unknown gate.

the idea wasnt to create a new nomad faction, that isnt going to happen. Rather, some members of the faction would be allowed nomad rep after a time, most faction members wont have nomad rep adjustment.

Neutral/ nomads =/= nomad faction. Not talking about a tag or ID, just neutral enough rep so that nomad NPCs don't gank you. Why would nomad NPCs want to gank a Prophet (infested human)? There would still be rules against faction members docking on nomad bases or anything like that, at least not unless they were a Hybrid.

Apologies for off-topicness.

Omicrom Iota is the only system in which I was like "ooohh craappp" when invading with my awesome Manta. I saw the nomads quiver in fear as I entered.

actually I flew around like a chicken with its head cut off. nomads and lasers everywhere. it just looked awesome and the atmosphere that Ioata breathes is just epic. in fact, I`ll visit it again today. it totally rules.

a shame non-nomad players can hardly discover those systems entirely because of the savage slaughter that awaits them. a well deserved savage slaughter mind you.

Iota: Charted it, liked it, died in it.
-99: Charted it, died in it.
Unknown: Found it, loved it, looked around it, made a Nomad in it, and made tentacle-pr0n movies in it to slip under Tenacity's doormat.

A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.

I just visited Iota (and 99) and I really must say, Iota is the most beautiful system in the whole disco universe.
Awesome! Great!

Thanks for those systems!

I was smart enough to check out Iota and 99 using OpenSP, with all reps set to "friendly". They were pretty cool, though the lane effects were a bit messed up and I couldn't dock on the Ravine.

Honestly? I died twice trying to get to the Shrine, which I admit is my own fault for not planning far enough in advance. However, I must have spent over an hour in total searching for the stupid jump gate, seeing as it is not only hidden from scanners and the nav map, but is also concealed in a small nebula as well as being placed far below the regular plane on the Z axis.

Bah. I understand having to find it the first time around, but the second, third and more times, it simply gets extenuating to do so. Making it show on the navmap wouldn't hurt that much, would it? (Then again, maybe I'm merely biased by my own experience. I can see how this would be useful, but there are some rather severe inconveniences to it as well, frankly.)
