In my opinion a DK design would be the best option. It fits the lore, and also explains the admin's 'god-powers'. Perhaps a few of them remained in Sirius to see how their creation fared.

Saying that 'other discovery ships said they were based on alien design' is not valid reasoning. All of the imported ships used that line, kushan, BHG and kadesh. Most if not all of those lines have been removed.

as i'm a huge fan of Jinx's model designs...anything would be better than the current one....heck i'd like to see the admins popping into system in that ship

How about moving the Admin base to conneticut somewhere? Just an idea. Better in an OORP system than in an RP system with a vague explenation.

One is in bastille already. While moving a base from system to another does need a bit of work. It's relatively easy to change location of the base within one system.

So lost battlestar could be placed somewhere behind/inside some dust cloud at least. So that it's not a landmark visible across whole system.

Yeah, that'd work too. Right now it's just a big sign saying 'I'M SCREWING UP YOUR SYSTEM ROLEPLAY!' if you ask me. Then coming with vague explenations about the Daam-K'Vosh ect, meh, just meh :/

Could it be possible to attach a lightning bolts effects to it? like there is on Tegaki's arch. That would make the ship look effin scary and cool

here is the first concept texture on the ship ( its not actually in the game - i just used a freelancer background and ambient lightning )

what should be visible is that the ship is supposed to be beaten up ( well thats a bit of an understatement - its totally wrecked actually ) - the biodome is broken, glas shards float around it - the hull shows holes everywhere and scorchmarks.

when you re close enough, you can even see the decks of the inside of the ship.

another option is of course to place the ship "intakt" like the battlestar.

*edit: that is really rather a low quality experimental skin. - it turns out that texturing a "wreck" is a whole lot more work than i expected...

Please do replace it.
Don't alude to the Dom Ka'vosh though please, saying it's a ship of theirs will automatically set the design trend for them and remove most of the mystery about them in a way.

Although this is under construction: Jinx, you're the man/woman/whatsover of the day!

This looks really awesome. But will it fulfill some task or is it just for the optical enhancement?
