Well, then I take it back. Good to see you are working to bring the good part of pirate rp out in penn. What are your pilots names by the way, maybe I have seen you before?

I'll tell you what irritates me to no end about pirates. Now, mind you, I usually pay up and leave.....about 5 times a run through Liberty space!!!!!
What bugs me are these pirates who pirate Zoners and still feel entitled to use Freeports. They know who they are! Far as I know, Rogues are the only Liberty faction who does not land on them so I'll leave them alone. Hackers, Outcasts, Corsairs, Hessians and indie pirate tags are some who do use them. If you're going to pirate Zoners then do as the Buccaneers in Bretonia do and do NOT use Freeports. I have a long list of those who shouldn't be........and you know who you are.

Oh my ... talk about exaggeration. At least we're not a BHG server like we were last year (at least for a few months). But I will say this ... Discovery GC is in fact a mega-trade server. And with lots of traders you're gonna find pirates ... and with pirates you find lawfuls who wanna stop em. Face it gafwmn ... I've yet to ever see you in anything other than an uber-cap lawful vessel. Tone down the uber-caps and the mega-huge trade vessels and you might see the pirates fly about in something smaller.
' Wrote:Imbeciles. If you believe a gunboat rawx the sawx off big trade ships, you are sorely mistaken. They deal out less damage than a bomber and are much easier to hit. Sure, maybe for a Supertrans or something, but against a Shire or Liner, you're in trouble.
JakeSG ... seems every time I come across your comments you're calling someone a name or demeaning them. How bout dropping the "imbeciles" bit ... uh oh ... I sense the admins may lock this thread before I can hit submit. You'd like that since you tend to hit and run in threads. You've still yet to initiate a conversation with me. Always comes to me getting hit in the face and then you walking away saying "conversation's over". Dude ... stick around for the replies.

Teach them what is a pirate, let them blow you up if necessary, show them a pirates RP and then recruit them and profit.
Good point Sindroms ... if pirates are gonna conduct business in Penn ... fly a fighter against the Dromedaries and such. Ah ... my old Dromedary. I remember when it was the ship to have for makin money. Second largest cargo hold with decent defensive firepower. But that was vanilla. Don't see very many Dromies anymore.

Eh ... I get a bit annoyed at Bounty Hunters killing pirates and then docking on Junker bases.
But then ... like I said ... you've never encountered me. So I'd appreciate it if you don't lump us all into the same bucket. I don't pirate Zoners or Junkers ... nor do I pirate GMG or certain other factions.
Junker bases as well as Zoner bases are neutral ground in my opinion. I will wait for the trader to get far enough away form a Zoner base before engaging them (regardless of their faction affiliation). I respect Zoner non-aggression buffer ... just wish you lawfuls would do the same around Junker bases.
Anyone who attacks a Zoner would be considered hostile to Zoners and thus ... by letter of the server rules ... would be OORP for docking on the base of the faction you just shot up. And this doesn't just apply to Zoners. Same would go for you shooting up an ally of that faction. Take note Doc ... Zoners are allied with the Order ...:)
As for the whole zoner thing. Sure but it clearly says in both zoner and junker IDs it does not make you immune to pirates, and, to be honest, i would be a bad pirate if I didnt take your money, use your bead, shoot you in the back and leave.
Then again, LR- do not tax Junkers and Zoners who rp back to them.

Sir, I'll call your "plain and simple", and raise you "arrogant and obtuse".
We already get the trend of what the Cartel thinks.. "Meh".
Expect to see more Zoners protecting Zoners, and enforcing the Bethlehem 5K NFZ, folk.

As I said, Sindroms, Rogues don't use them so I don't have a problem with Rogues doing it. Unfortunately, those I run into are usually "Open your wallet" and so many are overly trigger happy. FYI, I've tried many a time to RP into a reduced "donation" or none at all and failed miserably for whatever reason. Now, I say nothing, pay and leave.
