Indeed, there should technically be no problem with combining Buckshots and a Sabre with a Freelancer character. Sabres are not unlawful ships, even though they're used by certain unlawfuls.

I've got no personal problem with buckshots on a sabre. Maybe I treat the borderworlds shipline as more neutral than most? (I own the LF, HF, VHF and bomber, and have no Outcast characters). But I don't really see it as any different from the eagle, rules wise.

How can you come along with buckshots and I don't:(.

And about that who suggested me the tag.. well the admin said the point of removing was the ship, not the tag. So i wanted to clear out other peoples opinion, is it right to mount buckshots on a sabre or not.

Considering that the Sabre is sold only on Unlawfull bases, and Buckshots only on Bounty Hunter bases, that is, lawfull, I'm not sure anyone would be happy to see you.. neither unlawfulls with Buckshots, or Lawfulls with Sabre..

On the other hand, maybe it would be nice to place the Sabre selling representative on some Freeport.

I know I like it better than Eagle.

Based on its infocard, I don't know why it's not. Barrier Gate would also be a good place for it, except it's already full.

It may only be sold on unlawful bases, but it's supposed to be neutral border worlds.

Mine don't have buckshots. Destroyers, Lugers, Natterturns, Debs and Heimdalls.

All unlawful gear I must admit.

As said above, Sabre = neutral

If someone would doubt your use of Buckshots, I'd say that you could just work for some lawfuls or even BHG for some time and request permission to use of Buckshots from BHG themselves. If you already collected some bounties for lawfuls, just show them to BHG and make a RP request, I think it shouldnt be that big problem. This would fully justify their use inRP.

But in my opinion, you should be able to mount anything on the Sabre, since its neutral like Eagle (or any other civilian ship)

For me, Border worlds line is just like Civ line, but more advanced to survive in border worlds and edge systems.

I have to agree with the majority here. The Sabre is free-for-all. Just read the infocard. Does it say even one word about Outcasts, pirates, or any sort of unlawful activity? No, it does not. It's perfectly neutral and I second the suggestion of placing the BW line on a Freeport or on Barrier Gate. We could probably make one of the docking wings sell different ships fairly easily.

My buckshots were taken. With them my pvp-whoring with the fastest guns and the best ship ever build ended on the lawful side. Dan.Bundy lost his daily bred.

btw, you know that nomad canons (that can use only keepers) are better? try to purchase them, you can be

on the other side, when it is so neutral ship, why it is sold only on :
outcast base,
red hessian base
bundschuch base
lane hacker base.

all here think that they are neutral bases?...
civilian/neutral ships are available on bases available to all .....
so sorry, for me is sabre not civilian ship...

There shouldn't be any problem with putting BHG guns (the first choice for most lawful mercs) on an advanced civilian ship.
