yeah i pm'ed you becuase i run a small rp of gallia junker spy but you will not find much about it on here but you seem to be putting a lot more work in to it then i did mine but then i just doing it for me and freinds RP and if i mite say it's a secret service right doesn't do to have every one know about it like BI6 is and are thuse targeted by every other house for being spy's i like your idea but doing things like this is just asking for double agents but then i haven't had much luck gianing members but i figgerd this is becuase the Gallic NAvy faction is barely getting going so there not much need for group like this yet
' Wrote:I think the idea is great, but you will face a problem in action. I would like more description as to the interactions you would have with other players.
As I said before, the Gamma agents would be as visible in Gallia as the LSF are in Liberty. Noticable and visible, the sight of them would be a deterrant for Council spys and corrupt Police/Navy, when they see a Gamma Agent they should be thinking 'Oh god, I hope hes not checking up on me'. The Gammas would be asking questions about people activitys and generaly being interfearing in thier attempt to find you out. Every Member of the GSS would have a Gamma Agent because Betas and Alphas would be very realy seen, at least not sporting GSS tags.
Alphas and Betas are the undercover agents would do the Spying and infilration work as mentioned above.
' Wrote:I dont see why this should be seperated from the gallic junkers. Every gallic junker knows about their role in stealing technology from sirius - but only a few sirius junkers know about it, and none of the other sirius factions know that junkers had anything to do with the theft of that technology.
Junker rumors in gallia even admit that there will come a time when the Sirius and Gallic junkers must unify or seperate (i.e., sirius junkers will become hostile to the rest of sirius, or they'll become hostile to the gallic junkers when they learn the true motives of the crown).
If your refering to the whole "theres not GSS Id/Tag" thing I mentioned then they kind of do need to be seperate. Not every Gallic Junker would be a GSS member. Only the leaders would and not even all of them could be GSS now as the cover of the Junkers (In my RP anyway) is being used less now Gallia has been unveiled. Not because there are Sirius Junkers and Gallic Junkers who might have to split, but because thier usefullness had dwindled alot since thier first incarnation and its not as cost effective to have so many Agents involved in the Junkers now. Gallia has caught up if not surpassed Sirian Tech now, they dont need the Junkers to salvage thier equipment to research.
' Wrote:I'm just hoping this whole Secret service aspect of Gallia doesn't turn into the LSF completely. Acting in the open and all that. (And like the LSF player factions of yore, capwhoring)
Besides that, nothing against it.
Acctually the Gamma Agent would be out in the Open. Not doing spying missions but being a deterant and being on the look out for Council agents or Corrupt units.
In a Gallia Wall-Mart Gamma Agents would be the Store detective in uniform, making sure all the shoplifters know he is there and that he is watching them, Asking them akward questions when he see them doing somthing shifty. Alphas and Betas would be the ones wearing plain clothes looking at shoplifters over the top of a Newspaper but tackling them to the floor when they try to make a run for it.

Gallic Navy faction is very much active. You live under a rock?

i think to beable to have group like this take off it would need to be even in just some small way tied in to GRN
There should be some form of cooperation, IRP and OOC. But in my eyes, only to coordinate things, make sure nobody steps on eachother's toe's or RP and it all runs smoothly.

Alright, makes sence. Just so long as the realy secret guys ain't flying around in caps. They seem more like a RP only kind of thing to me.
Quote:A French secret service eh?
They should be incompetent, and get caught blowing up Greenpeace Gaian ships.

Quote:The actions of the Council have plunged our whole faction into an uncertain future--where we face the inevitable crisis we half hoped would never come. Aside from their leaders, the Junkers in Sirius have never heard about the Junkers from Gallia--and they became much mor wealthy and powerful than we ever could stuck in here.
The rumor doesn't state Junkers must part ways or pick a side with other Junkers--it just says when the news gets out, it will put ALL Junkers in a delicate crisis with ALL factions. Each player will determine the response to this. The status quo of Junkers should remain overall as it is the most practical method to relate to them but in Gallia, criminal and Council forces may have a much stronger reaction.
