I tried to propose some solutions. Changing that story about Cork nuking could help. It is important to me that we reach proper solution.

Much more important then being persistent in posting as many comment necessary in order to make it look like I'm right.

P.S. Another senseless generalisation: Not all terrorist wear turbans and not all that wear turbans are terrorist!

Can we retcon Zoners back to what they were in vanilla? You know, squatters and such staying out the way, not an empire with a fleet?

If nuking an planet or country makes someone a terrorist then USA is the only terrorist lead country IN THE HISTORY of Earth!!! Will you drop it now?

The difference is that they ended a war with it, against a weaker foe.

The Corsairs didn't finish off their enemies, and were left with a lot of more powerful factions seeing how brutal and barbaric they are, like a rabid dog, needing put down before it bites again.

A few things.

My preferred solution would be for the Zoners to join hands with the Corsairs and crush Bretonia with the force of 1.7 houses (that's including Kusari folks, 1+~.2+.5)

The longshot solution would be for Bretonia to make peaceful overtures directly to the Corsairs. Correct me if I'm wrong but in the vanilla game, the Corsairs became pirates out of necessity, taking what they needed because they didn't have enough to feed their people. Could there be a peace if they didn't have to steal to survive? Might even turn the tides in that nasty little inter-house war...

As for Cork, aren't guard systems tailor-made for the ones who request them? Looks like one lop-sided RP leads to another...

Thinking about possible long-range goals, it seems to me that Bretonia is trying to isolate the Zoners in order to swoop in and nab a replacement for Harris. The Bretonians also seem very hard-line about the situation. Count me among the suspicious... (doesn't help that I'm seeing a lot of complaints about the "Zoner Superpower.") I just get more interested as time wears on.

Changing the history of Cork now would be just silly.
You would be wiping away parts of history and things that people have built their RP on.

It was also bombed as an excuse to not give the Mollys a planet of their own (Like guard systems, none have landable planets, yet) and also to push for more hostility to Corsairs.
The Mollys are currently undervalued really, they have huge development potential and I know a few in the MR are intent on using this and fulfilling the potential.

It could be put down to Corsair extremists if you want, something like that. It really does give the Mollys a moral drive though, other than the Corsairs simply wanting to expand.

Zoner neutrality is a delicate thing. The forces that rely on the Zoner bases and use them would defend said Zoners from those wishing to take the bounty on them. This has already happened. Why the OORP worry?

I fail to find a logic in your response here... Japan does not exist any more? None was left alive in Hiroshima or Nagasaki? So, you have to kill everybody in order not to be considered a terrorist? Please, elaborate...
